Nous avons fait une visite de la ville avec Viviana, qui nous a fait partager son expérience, ses connaissances de la ville de son histoire ! Cela a été un bon moment d'échange, et une première approche de la ville plus personnalisée ! Merci à l'association et à Viviana !

Wonderful way to see the city!

I met Joaquin on a very hot day in Buenos Aires. We went to the La Boca neighborhood (my request) and he gave me a great tour with lots of information about the history of the area, etc. I felt bad that I had to cut the visit short due to the oppressive heat, but Joaquin was cheerful and flexible throughout. Full disclosure: I am a Greeter in Chicago, but a Greeter tour is a wonderful way to see a city with a free, local guide. Joaquin's tour was no exception.

I met with friendly Pablo who showed me around Balvanera. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I love doing Greeter-tours of cities, and this was no exception. Highly recommended.

Ein toller Tag!

Ich habe von den „cicerones“ in einem Podcast über Buenos Aires gehört und ich kann diesen Tip nur weitergeben, vor allem an diejenigen, die zum ersten Mal in dieser mega Stadt sind-so wie wir!
Wir haben zusammen mit unserem Greeter, Alberto, die Stadt erkundet, haben viel gesehen, viel vom Leben hier erfahren. Wir haben aber vor allem die kulinarischen Seiten dieser Stadt kennengelernt (Cafés, Steak-Restaurants)!
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Buenos Aires! Vielen Dank nochmal an Alberto!!!
Die erste Kontaktaufnahme zu den „cicerones“ erfolgte sehr unkompliziert. Und wir hatten auch sehr schnell unseren Greeter zugeteilt bekommen.
Es hat alles so toll geklappt! Danke!
Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen!!!

Tolle Eindrücke vom Alltagsleben

Mit einem Cicerone Greeter ein paar Stunden zu verbringen, das bedeutet, etwas tiefer in den Alltag der Menschen in Buenos Aires einzutauchen und nicht nur die touristischen Highlights abzuklappern. Wir hatten das Glück, dass Pablo sich sogar am 24. Dezember viel Zeit für uns genommen hatte und wie wir großes Interesse an Architektur und Geschichte hat. Vielen Dank nachträglich dafür!

Great experience in Buenos Aires!

We had the pleasure of,discovering a part of the city (Recoleta) alongside a great greeter, learning a lot about the neighbourhood and seeing it from a distinct viewpoint. Her kindness willingness to help along with her spontaneousness made for a great afternoon.

Not a bad experience

I found this on the internet somehow and on a whim decided to sign up. Sort of forgot about it until i got an email from Pablo. He was very communicative and clear, came to meet me in Palermo and then we ended up walking all the way to the flower art in Recoleta. Along the way we had good discussions and he enlightened me on Buenos Aires. I appreciate the experience and would recommend

Excellent way to get to know Buenos Aires!

What a fabulous day and greeter. I'm a volunteer with the Big Apple Greeter program and this was my first time receiving a greet. It was fabulous!

David spoke with me beforehand about my interests and took me walking through neighborhoods and museums and what was also great is that since I'm solo traveling I had someone with me so I could take lots of photos and feel safe taking my camera out! 😁

It also feels lovely to know someone here who I can reach out to if I need help.

A wonderful way to visit Buenos Aires

It was our first visit to Buenos Aires,and we had a really wonderful time with Patricia,she is such a lovely genuine person.By the end of our time spent with her we had become friends.She took us to La Boca district that we had asked to see.It is a very vibrant,colourful place where artists show their paintings and crafts to tourists.We also saw a couple dancing the Tango at a cafe as we were walking by,which added to the atmosphere.Patricia also told us about the history of the area which was very interesting.
Next we went to Puerto Madero,which is a relatively new area of Buenos Aires with high rise apartments,restaurants and office buildings.We went to a very nice restaurant,overlooking the water, for lunch in this area,and we had a very relaxing meal together.
We enjoyed our time spent with Patricia very much, she showed us two contrasting areas of Buenos Aires that were very different,the old and the new.We would recommend Patricia and Cicerones to anyone visiting Buenos Aires for the first time.
