I stopped at Ak-Chin for the day. Played several different games. Some paid and some were tight. I love that you can order drinks straight from the machine. Waitstaff is quick and friendly.

We had a great room, great food, and great slots experience! Walked out w a little more than we came in with! The casino and hotel room were both very clean and staff was very nice!

How low have they gone
Machines not paying back
The one place to eat after 10pm turned off their menu sign cause the only had 3 things left to serve
Even at their overpriced offerings there was little to serve and to have the numbers screamed out like keno numbers was very annoying
Rooms seemed to be ok if that’s what you go to a casino for

Harrah's Ak-chin was awesome. It is a little bit of a trek from Phoenix but it is highway the whole way. We had fun there and ate and drank and even won a little money. Bartenders were great at the lounge too. For those of you who don't like smoking, there is only one small smoking area in the rear of the casino and the rest is non-smoking. Worth a trip and hope you enjoy. We took a day trip from Surprise, AZ and did not stay in the hotel so can't comment on that. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

I am a physician that runs a business around the country and owns several properties on different parts of the country as well. When kids are out of school in the summer we travel normally. Since I've been so busy all year with little time to visit casinos I wanted to spend time at Harrah Ak-Chin to gamble as much as 5k to 10k tier points a day to earn toward 7 star for next year. I booked a room at Harrahs at the resort site with my wife and 2 kids listed in the reservation last month. Mindful, I've always been uograded to a 1 BRM suite in the past except once. Most of my casino loses were to this facility as well. On arrival we were given a room at the very end with view of the parking lot not the resort. 1 king, no upgrade or sofas despite listing my entire family on the reservation. My kids slept on the floor. I booked a 2 bedroom suite in Glendale that night and checked out 2 days early.
My wife asked for pillows and extra blanket and was told the maximum allowed was 2 tiny pillows and a blanket per room.
Worse of all, they took my driver's license to let me use the luggage cart which was probably the most humiliating experience of all.
Our main home is almost 10k square footage in Michigan. I would have been happy to pay significant bunch for a suite or 2 rooms if it was offered. I had hoped to spend over 20k gambling there for the 3 days I was there, well their loss for their stupidity. I don't plan to ever return there again after this last experience. I'll pass this on to the Caesars leadership as well.
Teaching front desk/registration staff what loyalty means and treating your 7 stars and even diamonds players with respect will make them spend more at your facility without regrets especially customers like me with limitless resources playing for points not the dollar.
I've never been so disappointed. As an ambassador with Marriott, I get significant star service than as a Seven Star at Harrah's Ak-Chin.

If I could leave a 0 I would because 1.0 is too generous.
The machines there barely provide even a partial payback. I’ve played at various Indian casinos and American ones throughout Arizona and the US and I can at least play for a decent amount of time at other establishments even if I don’t win……Not at AK CHIN!
Keep driving past this one to other casinos in the area such as Gila Wildhorse Pass.(that’s what I did lol and had much better experience)
This was a first visit to the Chin and will be my last there. Other casinos I frequent make me want to come back because there is enjoyment to the way their machines play, but not at AK CHIN.
You might as well tell them you came to gamble and just hand them the money you came with….that’d probably be more entertaining and less disappointing.
Additionally, the selection of machines is not as new as other properties in the area such as Gila Wildhorse pass.
Regarding the hotel, rooms are ok, but the air in the hallways smells like matches/sulfur. Probably something needs repair, but they’re so stingy to fix it even though their machines don’t have any play value and just take money. There’s no valet. Hotel parking is not good. Bel hop/ luggage guy not there. The drinks are awful as well. Ordered a rum and coke and it tasted like the soda was out and flat, so it was just a rum and water basically. Not many food offerings there either. I guess if you like dog food and canned chili the Cactus Cafe might be ok, but they’re other casinos with better food offerings. They have a steakhouse there but no one seems to eat there.
I’m sure they probably “police themselves” regarding the slot/video machines so have them set to rip you off. Therefore there’s no point in filing a complaint with their gaming commission. I just won’t return and hope you save yourself the disappointment by just not going there.

Always the best service and food we always have a great time and always get excellent service from the time we pull up until the time we leave never had we had an issue.

General store in a multi million dollar facility closes at midnight… while 4 ladies are standing around the check in desk. They’ll definitely hound you if you bring a cocktail from the room, but won’t give a crap if you need pepto bismol from eating their reheated, microwaved chili (which was literally the last thing they had available) from the only sorry cafe open at their property. My ass is still burning, thanks ak-chin. Mind you, anything else pharmaceutical or edible is about 3 miles out. This place won’t last long if not for the junkies and degenerate gamblers. An absolute mess of an establishment with the Harrah’s named attached, so much potential lost.

We had a great experience. Spa was short staffed thanks to Covid but they made it work. Spa was Clean and reasonably priced for a resort. Beautiful pool. Food at the pool bar was quite good. Comfortable chairs/lounges. Pleasant hot tubs. Dunkin Donuts in the casino was very convenient. Not anything to complain about- a super pleasant stay.

Beautiful property.
I had a terrible experience though. I had came with a friend. When I had left his side to play security approached him and asked if I was bothering him??? Next morning he had to leave for surgery and I stayed. Not if the managers spoke to me, but conversed with the whole group. I just felt like an outsider my whole visit. Then when I was checking out, I suddenly wasn’t listed on the room, just 2 days before I was. I just wish I loved it as much as I thought I would.
