Although the day to day operation is in Arizona, Go Sail Arizona conducts their multi day sails / classes out of Long Beach, CA. My wife and I just finished a 3 day trip with Capt Clint (ASA 103/104) -- Long Beach to Avalon to Two Harbors to Long Beach. The vessel was sound and comfortable -- Dufour 37.5. Including Clint, there were 6 of us on board. Except for spotty winds on the last day, we enjoyed perfect weather (obviously not controlled by the proprietor). What made it a perfect experience, however, was the teaching methodology and demeanor of Capt Clint! You learned by doing and thinking -- not by having it all jammed down your throat. We made mistakes - he anticipated them and took them in stride. Here's the bottom line .... We're sailing neophytes. We'd sail and learn from him in an instant. Thanks, Clint (and Julie), for three great days!
