They need to provide better info in advance of the parking location and time required to get to the venue.
They need to STOP attendees from taking their seats through the ENTIRE performance. We just saw "Jesus Christ Superstar" and an excellent show was marred by the disruption of people taking their seats throughout the whole performance. I find that disrespectful to the performers and rude, rude, rude to other attendees. In a group that large you will have some people who do not respect the viewing experience of others. It is up to the venue to enforce a policy that provides the best possible experience for attendees. Many people seemed to know they could arrive at any time and still be seated as there were *tons* of empty seats at the beginning of the show that were pretty much all filled by the end.
I will hesitate to see another event at this venue due to this issue.

The Gammage Auditorium in Phoenix is a treasure. We are session ticket holders, and look forward to the musicals and other shows performing in the Grady Gammage Auditorium.

I can sincerely appreciate the architecture of this building and the history of it originally planned as the Baghdad opera house. I am disappointed though in the overall acoustics when attending a Broadway musical; the dialogue does not come through loud and clear starting in the balcony area.

Another piece of FLW, if your into his stuff... So neat and so different... inside and out... the auditorium holds all sorts of plays, and concerts and is great ......it's just a fun place to go see...

Gammage is a wonderful venue for live shows. We have seen several shows here and enjoy it each time. Arrive early for the best parking options. They serve cocktails to enjoy before the show and some show souvenirs are also available for purchase.

The theater is a little quirky, it is a Frank Lloyd Wright building. The quality of plays is wonderful. Always a fun night when you go to the Gammage.

We saw a show in gammage last night and although the bathrooms are definitely an issue they are raising money to remedy the problem, a project that will be started this summer. We were in the mezzanine level and we were able to hear fine, although we did miss a few words in the songs. There is an electric scrolling board on the front of the stage now, like closed captioning, that helps with that issue. If you are worried about being able to hear they do have head phones at the hat check you can borrow. We are from cleveland and spoiled by the incredible venues at playhouse square, to which this does not compare, but this is still an enjoyable place to see a show.
