We went to the museum to find out about Snowflake. We had a woman walk us through the rooms and give us a tour. We learned who first settled in the area and how the town got it's name. She even was an ancestor of some of the settlers. It was very informative and really had a lot of great artifacts.

Decedents of the original settlers ( Snow & Flake!) have maintained a few of their original structures from the late 1880's. We were given a delightful tour by Sharla Flake, whose husband's great great great grandfather was one of the originals.
