I can't comment on the chocolates, but had an awful experience when my wife and I ordered gelato. The main problem was in the way the worker scooped the gelato. She weighed it on a scale and it must have been to a VERY exact specification. She was actually adding or removing gelato about a half to one teaspoon at a time to achieve some exact measurement. I have never seen this before. I understand portion control, but if giving customers a teaspoon or two more than some prescribed amount is going to make a difference for one's bottom line, then one's business model is flawed. Not to mention the terrible optics as the worker painstakingly added small amounts of gelato to the cup to achieve the correct weight. On top of this, the consistency of my gelato was way too soft...the weather was not particularly warm so that was not a factor).

We bought a variety of truffles and caramels and they were all delicious. You could tell the ingredients were top quality. Interesting flavors including hot spices. The salted baby desert tortoise caramels were amazing - soft and not too sweet.

Great variety of stylish confections as well as offering local honey and selection of gelato for those toasty days when you want something delicious & cold. This establishment uses Covid protocols and it seemed to be a very clean . In town but a little off the beaten path located in the Entrada de Tubac shopping plaza.

Wandering around the Tubac Village marketplace we came upon Untamed Confections. What a cute place. And best part you can see them making all of their own confections. Nice interesting variety.They make everything with their honey, no sugars. And so tasty. Had their dark chocolate bar 72% dark. Really great. Also bought some of the chocolate honey caramels. Had to try one of their chocolate peanut butter cups. Oh my, so so tasty and smooth. Melt in your mouth great flavor bursts. Super friendly here, lets you taste too, they also ship. Prices are reasonable for the typoes of handmade goodies you get.

The perfect souvenirs for the family, friends & coworkers we left behind. We spent a fortune at this shop after sampling the unique flavors. We bought multiple bags of the four flavors of caramel that used ingredients I thought best represented Arizona - Carameleno Jalapeno, Desert Date Pecan, Orange Sunup & Desert Wildflower. The Jalapeno version has just a snap of heat at the finish; the Wildflower a soft, sweet flavor, the Desert Date Pecan has a chewy bite - my favorite was the Orange Sunup. I love citrus flavors & this unexpected flavor combo is outstanding!
The shop shipped them home for us so no worries there. Each bag had 20 caramels in them so I broke the bags down & did a smaller gift of an assortment for each person. The shop has an online store that I've ordered from since. I'm not a chocolate eater usually but I might just have to try some of their chocolate caramel combos next!

After dining at Elvira's we (three adults) made our way through the nearby shops and stopped at the candy store (just before they closed). We purchased three things, a small sampler box, a peanut butter cup, and a jar of creamed honey. The sampler box was delectable, and the pieces had to be cut into halves. We nursed those for two days. The peanut butter cup is tasty, but a bit dryer than I expected. Just finishing that up right now. The creamed honey will have to wait until I arrive back home so I can add it to my favorite coffee on the first morning of the new year.

They boast that their chocolate is made with local honey. I was dubious at the claim but being a chocolate lover, well let's give a try. A very small piece of their chocolate was $6 and I must say it was nothing to write home about. The women who waited on us was the owner and just plain surly which ended experience with a poor ratting.

This is a very unique shop in that all of the candies that are proffered for procurement are organic, which in turn might make them rather expensive, depending on one's point of view.
The candies are very delicious, nonetheless and over a month after having visited the shop, we are still enjoying their Pecan Pie Honey Caramel Confection ( Desert wild flower honey, organic cream, organic pecans, organic butter, organic vanilla and sea salt) one small 26 calorie piece at a time :-)
The shop is in a very charming location inside La Entrada de Tubac. The young lady who waited on us was very pleasant and was willing to answer all of our questions. No candy making was taking place at the time of our visit, hut there is a large glass partition that would allow one to watch the process should that be taking place on the premises.
Enjoy!

We have honey bees, so we were very interested in this store which provides confections sweetened with honey. Free samples of the honey and confections were willingly provided and excellent. We purchased a package of the Velvet Mesquite Honey Caramels without checking the price and were a little surprised at the $14 for 3.2 ounces. That works out to $70 a pound! A very expensive, but tasty treat.

This is a candy shop in the shopping area. Seasonal hours, Oct - May; Mon - Sunday 10 am - 5 pm.June - September Mon - Sun 11 am - 4 pm.
They use honey to sweeten and boy can you taste the difference in it. Oh free samples.
I got the Desert Flower Carmels and the Chocolate Chipotle Honey Carmels. No I will not share.....ahahaha.
