Fun, affordable course. Wasn't crowded, played 18 with my buddy and had a great time. Driving range, bars and shop were also very nice to have.

This is the golf course where parts of the movie Tin Cup was filmed. I played this course back in the early 1960's and again in the 1980's and it It hasn't changed much except for an addition nine holes. The course is flat and there are lots of cottonwood trees along the fairways. The course is fun to play and not too expensive at least in the summer.

On impulse, I was looking for an upscale quickie getaway for a night and my neighbor recommended the Tubac Golf Resort. I'm not a golfer, but after taking a look at the website, it was clear that was not the only recreation or diversion. I was in a huge, mini-suite cabana with a sunken living area leading to a full private patio facing the lawn and what I think was a former chapel. My initial experience was marred by a nest ot very loud cicadas above the back patio door. After that subsided, it was lovely. I would suggest they replace the ceiling fans next upgrade as they are too loud and clanky to use. Don't bother with having a light, just get good, quiet fans. Big, beautifully tiled bathrooms with a big walk-in shower AND a big tub if desired. Then the pool(s)....perfect. Private cabanas poolside are availble. There's one big pool and one lap pool for people like me who actually like to get some exercise. Great idea! Pool area was spotless except for the usual sloppy guest who left their soggy towel wadded on the deck. Staff was uniformly gracious and charming! My room had a fireplace that I would use nightly if it has been wintertime as Tubac sits at about 4,000 feet. The semi-dry river running to the east supplies a beautiful green belt of trees. The resort is north of the village on expansive, private grounds so you really feel cozy and secure. It's a high-end property, no doubt, so visit as I did during non-season and midweek for the best rates.

Hubby and I came here to experience the Tin Cup course. So we enjoyed the history and the experience of that. There are definitely some unique holes to play. The condition of the course wasn't top notch but it was decent in most fairways and most greens were in good shape. The greens were pretty tough I'll admit that. Not many straight in putts with the pins placed where they were. Probably not a place we'd golf again but glad we experienced it for sure and took some pics!

Fantastic day of golf on this pretty course dotted with a Mesquite trees and cows! Site of the Tin Cup filming so photo ops on holes 3 and 4 of Rocco a must. Beautiful resort; will definitely be back to play and stay!

The Tubac Golf Resort is more than just a Golf Resort. It is a very great place to stay and to enjoy the surrounding area including the little Town of Tubac. Have been here 3 times already, and it never disappoints. Great casitas make for nice stay.

Second time I have golfed here. Know for being the course in Tin Cup. Pretty flat and open. Not very challenging. Still had a good time. Service in the bar after was almost nonexistent

The staff in the pro shop were so friendly and helpful. Shopping was a pleasure. The 18 hole course is challenging and spectacular. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to share this experience with great friends.

Annual car show with LARGE diverse entry and lots of spectators. We were nostalgic looking at all the classic cars. So much hard work and time expressed in the restoration of the history of the automobile. The 1996 restored border patrol car, a favorite, won a trophy and was voted (the car that everyone wanted to drive home.)

If you are planning a wedding in southern Arizona....AVOID TUBAC GOLF RESORT AND SPA AT ALL COSTS.....REPEAT; DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT TUBAC GOLF RESORT AND SPA. They did not follow through on ANY of our details, food was not what we agreed to have served, wait staff are clearly NOT trained in serving, had to ask to have wine passed to all guests, wait staff rushed clearing of plates, bullied guests, offered to sell drugs to guests, ruined our cake, did not clean our bridal suite, had to beg to have plates brought out to our rehearsal buffet, wedding coordinator was completely clueless...the list goes on. The best part is, when we asked for a refund, we were offered a two night stay/dinner.....WHAT???? Wait, you ruined our wedding, and then slapped our faces....CHEAP, UNCARING organization. Setting is beautiful....but keep looking.I only gave it a rating of one because the system wouldn't allow a zero.

Dear Jan, I very much enjoyed meeting you both and hearing about your wonderful honeymoon to Italy. I know it was not the best of times for us to meet regarding the issues you had at the Tubac Golf Resort & Spa during your wedding and I hope you accept my personal apology. It is our goal to consistently provide the highest quality in both product and service and is vital to our continued success to know when we have fallen short of our own high standards.
As we discussed, in reviewing the issues we determined that mistakes were made, and completely understand how they were upsetting to you. I have discussed the issues with our Food and Beverage Director and our Executive Chef and they have assured me that while your experience is rare, they have spoken to the appropriate personnel to reiterate the importance of quality service above all. They have asked me to pass their deepest apologies along to you both.
I know the issue with the banquet server was unexpected, not only by you, but also to the resort. This individual has always been a hard worker and we have never had any issues with her during her 1 ½ years of her employment at the Resort. Nor have we experienced this type of situation before between guests and employee. We realize this is a ‘he said/she said,’ even so, the resort does not tolerate that kind of behavior, therefore, she was terminated immediately.
We are glad that most of your guests enjoyed your wedding and we sincerely hope that you will accept our apology, compensation and invitation to stay with us again to demonstrate our true level of hospitality and service in serving you.
