This is a husband & wife business. They know exactly what they’re doing and really enjoy people. Our party of 5 came down specifically to buy hats. Because our friend had bought a hat, that looks fabulous on him at 80, we also to wanted purchase fine quality hats. They were very helpful in aiding us which hats look the best for the individual person. We want to thank them again for all their assistance. They have a beautiful shop with a host of items. Anyone will be able to find something there.
The drive is pleasant and relaxing.

The artwork could be more extensive and cosmopolitan. Many of the paintings are accompanied by comments from the artist and vary between condescending and pretentious.

A beautiful gallery with some impressive shows. i wasn’t surprised to see that many if the art works in the members’s shows were already sold - lots of talent here.And be sure to check out their lovely gift shop too.

Very pleasant visit. Art on display was very interesting. The front desk attendant was excellent. She observed us discussing a piece of art and she spent time finding the artists interview on their opening night, to give us further insight into the piece. She was helpful and truly enthused that we visited, and enjoyed the exhibit.

We have been coming to Tubac for years and just love visiting this gallery. They have wonderful art shows and also the gift shop has something for everyone. It is air conditioned which is wonderful during the Arizona heat. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Well this is an interesting limited overview of many local artists in the Tubac area. Perhaps my average rating is a bit low as there is a variety of art examples.

I visited Tubac 10 years ago and visited the Art Center because the village is known as being an art hub. I was disappointed the first time. I was hoping after 10 years things would have changed. The town seems to have more offerings, restaurants, art galleries and even an art school. However it looks like the art center expanded but why I could not figure out. It is a black box with average at best art exhibits, classes etc. After 10 years one would have hoped this place would have become a better place to visit. The shop in the center is about the only reason to visit. I was disappointed once again. Hopefully in another ten years it will be worth a visit.

The center contains art works in the collection and also some for sale. There is a nice variety of art - most of which are western works.

Always like to stop and chat and see whats happening..Sept is off season and they are closed some days..wish the signs more clearly stated if they are open or not...permanent signs say they are open every day,,,sign on the door,,read only by walking up the stairs says NO...etc..get it right.

While in Tubac the Tubac Center of the Arts is well worth the time to walk through their galleries. We visited during an exhibit featuring the artists who are members. There were oils, water colors, pastels, and acrylic paintings. All of which were worthy of recognition and enjoyable to see. The gallery allows you to view the paintings from both a distance and up close so you can see individual brush strokes. I was quite impressed with the diversity of the art and its quality. All of the art was for sale at prices ranging from a few hundred to several thousand dollars for the larger pieces. There is no admission fee. Also, there is a small gift store with books, jewelry, fabric, pottery, and prints for sale. An excellent way to spend 30-40 minutes.

If the event you are referring to is the Tubac Festival of the Arts hosted by the Tubac Chamber of Commerce, not TCA, yes, there is handicap parking right off of the E. Frontage Road in the La Entrada plaza near Commerce Bank.
Tubac Center of the Arts has handicap parking and a ramp in front of the building on Plaza Road but this parking area is not available during festival.
