Attended an art showing with local artists - nature photographer (best I've ever seen...can actually buy on the spot or order online) pen and ink, oil paintings and pottery. Two of the artists were present...the photographer and pen and ink artist...enjoyed visiting with both. It is an excellent showing. I plan to return another time to read up on all the local history. Excellent showing and very interesting little museum. Well worth a look. And the museum staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Nice tour of historic home built with bauxite ore, (used to smelt aluminum) mined from the local area. Nicely arranged interior with period furniture.

We had a great time in the town of Benton.. The museum was an old doctor office with separate waiting rooms for men and women. Our guide filled in the blanks about the town. Other exhibits had a lot to do with aluminum, Alcoa and Reynolds . They have a wonderful collection of niloak pottery which was stunning with all the color variations. That alone was worth the trip. Donations are accepted

Great displays, history here. We saw a Roy Rogers exhibit there once it was very cool. Located in downtown Benton.
