Papa Bill is AMAZING! My husband, dog, and I had the privilege of going fishing with Papa Bill. 10/10 recommend! We caught 26 rainbow trout! Papa Bill is kind, knowledgeable, entertaining, and very friendly! We can't recommend Papa Bill enough!

We caught our limit of beautiful Rainbow Trout on a 1/2 day guide boat excursion on the White River
Marty has been our guide for the past several trips from the State Park & he is the best in our view! We enjoy the trip from the moment we step into the boat through receiving our “catch of the day” cleaned & filleted ready for my freezer. Thanks Papa Bill for keeping fishing guide service ‘afloat’!

Papa Bill's provided a great guided fishing adventure. Pat Kelley was our guide. He contacted us the day before with information about our trip. All we needed was our fishing license, trout stamp and proper clothing for the weather. He was able to pick us up at the dock where we were staying. We booked the half day with a shore lunch. Fishing was great. Pat was awesome! He gave us tips on how and where to cast our bait. Pat talked with us about the river and pointed out the eagle's nest. Pat cleaned the fish and prepared one fantastic meal. I would highly recommend you contact the guide service and see if Pat is available for your trip. Also the trip was with my adult daughter.

Papa Bill and Jake Smith; the guide we had for the day, were both great to work with. Both are very skilled and knowledgeable and took time to understand what our wants were the day before we fished with them. More importantly than the fishing skills (and we caught fish), was the high caliber of individuals they are. We shared so much more than fishing talk before the encounter, all day on river, and in follow-up communication afterwards. I truly believe I made a couple of new friends and didn’t just hire a guide service for the day.

We had two boat for two couples for a full day of fishing. Jake and Pat were amazing and we caught a ton of fish. They went out of their way to make sure our day we exceptional - and it was! We will be back!

We contacted Papa Bill about a guided trout fishing trip on the White River in Bull Shoals Arkansas. Papa Bill called us back and was able to fit our schedule change at the last moment. The guide Papa Bill arranged for us, Greg, had our enjoyment as his only concern. We caught a lot of fish, Greg cleans our catch and delivered to our cabin. Without a hesitation Papa Bill’s is the person to contact for a trout fishing trip in this area

We had a great half day of fishing with Papa Bill and Pat. We learned so much and laughed until our sides hurt. Not only that, we caught way more fish than we could keep. After we were done, Papa Bill sent us to a great restaurant where they cooked our fish and served it with all the fixings. Papa Bill and Pat were great fishing coaches and very patient while we figured it out. We will definitively be back to White River to visit Papa Bill again.

Went out with Jake from Papa Bills Guide Service and hands down Jake is the man! He made sure that my family was well taken care of, he was very professional and knew a ton about the River and was adaptive to the every changing tide and other factors that the average guy would’ve thought of. We felt like we was top priority and would highly recommend Jake and Papa Bills Guide Services... Oh and we caught tons of Trout.

We have been fishing with Bill for several years and it gets better every trip! Bill always knows exactly where to take us to make sure we are all catching fish. We have also been able to fish with his partner Jake and he delivered just as well as Papa Bill. We highly recommend Papa Bill’s Fishing!
