If you're staying around in Patan, Lalitpur, you will see a beautiful temple made of stone called 'Krishna Mandir' which is very popular among any age group. Elderly come here to worship and younger generation chooses this spot for dating and romantic chats in the evening. The Krishna Mandir is lit up really beautifully in the evening. A must visit place in Patan, Lalitpur.

The birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated as Krishn Ashtami. Krishna, the dark- skinned god revered as a manifestation of Lord Vishnu, who taught warrior Arjuna the value of Karma in the Bhagwad Gita, was born at midnight on the eighth day of the dark moon of August which is known as ashtami..
To celebrate the birthday of this popular Hindu god, devotees flock to Krishna temples all over Nepal; Kathmandu Valley's Krishna Mandir in Patan Durbar Square is the centere of celebrations and is thronged by a large number of devotees who gather at night to pay homage beyond mid-night. Even during the day, hordes of devotees visit the temple to pray and make offerings.

Di fronte al Patan Museum si trova questo tempio hindu realizzato in pietra in stile indiano. E' il tempio in pietra più antico e non è stato danneggiato dal terremoto del 2015. E' sui tre livelli e non hindu non possono accedere per vedere la statua di Krishna.

Costruito nel 1637, questo tempio in pietra bianca a tre livelli appare molto slanciato a causa delle arcate sostenute da esili colonne.
L'influenza dello stile indiano è evidente, soprattutto per la guglia tipo shikhara.
Purtroppo anche qui i non hindu non possono entrare, non mi pare giusto visto che l'ingresso nelle chiese cattoliche è aperto a tutti.

クリシュナ寺院 (チャム デワル)はダルバール広場には2つあり、
南のクリシュナは八角形で1723年にヴィシュヌマッラ王によって建てられました。少し北にあるクリシュナは17Cで少し古く地震でかなり破壊されたようです。
特異な形で一番いいように思います。
このクリシュナ寺院 (1637年創建)は、1637年に建てられたもので、
北側にあるクリシュナは1723年でこちらの方が古い。
地震ではかなり破壊されたようです。
より新しいクリシュナが八角形で、古いこのクリシュナは四角形です。
どちらもいい形の寺院です。

1723年に建てられた新しい方の寺院です。
震災の修復は終わったようです。
ヴィシュヌの乗り物、神鳥ガルーダ像の石柱も健在です。
