The cave of the lakes is a visit that definitely should be carried out if you are in these places. The tour takes about 30-35 minutes. The ticket is a bit expensive I think for the duration of the visit. The humidity in the cave is at high levels.Of the total 13 lakes of the cave, the visible path passes only three.Impression causes that in absolute silence - a little difficult - you "hear" the water stalactites and stalagmites.

Driving away from kalavrita back to Athens only 15 minutes from kalavrita.. the entrance price was 9€ but worth it.. the lady explained all the history about the caves.. careful u are not allowed to take pictures..

Very nice cave with lakes inside.Surely it doesn't have much water but it is worth seeing.It has a guide to explain each point and what questions you have.It is worth visiting!!

Great place. Very sweet and good our guide. Unfortunately because of the Anambria the lakes did not have water and so the spectacle was not so pleasant as you realize how much has changed our climate

The cave is very impressive and interesting, easily accessible and definitely worth a visit. The organization and the tour are of course another story. I don't know if it's because we visited it on Sat/Sun when it was very crowded, however the tour guide said very little about the history of the cave (apparently these would have been the instructions they would have given her), the tour was very fast so that we don't have enough time to admire the place and at the same time other groups entered before I finished, resulting in a scramble as the path was particularly narrow. Since you pay €9 for the ticket (€4.5 discounted) this situation was unacceptable. The fact that it was a day with many visitors does not mean that the tour should be spoiled. Also, they did not inform us about the existence of the museum, so we did not visit it, even though it is included in the price of the ticket.

If one is staying in diakofto how to go to tour cave lake and adjoining area. Any tour operator available in diakofto or kalavryta which i can come in contact. I want to come in December last week

da kalavrita come ci si può arrivare?? e quanto tempo ci vuole per andare, visitare le grotte e tornare a kalavrita?

You need to have a car in order to visit the cave. It is about 30 minutes away from Kalavrita
