Great service and perfect location right at the start of the trail to Padstow. Bikes were well maintained and ready to go when we arrived. Very efficient service and same at drop off. Big thumbs up from us.

Excellent service. Easily the best of the three bike hire places near the camel trail. A little wait but we were late and they kept us informed all the time. Looked like a professional young business. Will certainly be recommending to others

Have used them for bikes when guests have stayed, but they seem to have lost the plot lately. The owners recently used Facebook to post photos of an elderly couple, accusing them of bike theft with zero evidence other than the fact they were on their CCTV walking past. They were distraught, went in to explain it wasn’t them and asked for an apology as lots of people were calling them about it. Instead of being contrite, the people at BBH were hostile. End result is two old people who are too scared to come to Wadebridge in case they are recognised and called thieves. Seems like there's bad karma at this place; plenty of other places in town to rent a bike that wouldn’t behave like this.

We chose this hire company due to its proximity to the trail and the long stay car park nearby. We were given all the information and leaflets needed. However, when we had actually paid the money, we had no choice on the bikes, just given one each. There was no explanation about how to use the gears etc, no checking we could even ride them and no help moving saddle to ensure it was the right height. We have hired bikes all over the country while on holiday and this is the first time we ever received this level of service. Surely it’s in their interest to ensure that we were competent on their property. A helmet didn’t come as standard either and had to be requested. No bell on the bikes either which is essential on a busy trail. The trail was excellent , the bikes did the job but the service was lacking. Maybe this is standard and we were just lucky in the past.

My wife and I used this company recently for our trip to Cornwall, as we wanted to cycle the Camel Trail between Padstow and Bodmin. This was my first time of hiring a bike, rather than using my own, and it was a bit of a mixed experience in truth. Booking over the phone was very easy, as was the process in general - the staff were friendly & helpful from start to finish. The price also seemed reasonable for all-day hire. I was a bit surprised by the standard of the hybrid bikes though; they were VERY well used, rusty and a bit rickety. They did the job and functioned okay, but it might be worth checking ahead or paying a bit extra with a nearby competitor if the look of the bike is important to you. Hopefully the owners are looking to invest in new inventory after a busy summer, and will improve their offering. Included with the bike hire was a pump and lock, which was useful, and I assume they provide you with a helmet, if you don't bring your own. The location is conveniently right next to the trail and public toilets. Parking is available in a public car park, just beyond Lidl, and you can pay using the Just Park app. It's just over £5 for the day.

I booked for 11 of us to hire bikes ageing from 6-63 many months before going to Wadebridge and we wanted something off road as we aren’t regular bikers and have several young children in our party. On arrival the staff sorted our reservation promptly and we were directed to our bikes. Some of the bikes were a little to big and the staff quickly swapped them for us. We had an E-bike as one of the part my is suffering from long covid and the was the only disappointment that it wasn’t charged fully and ran out of battery as we were on the way back. The ride to Padstow and back is 10miles and is a nice ride. We will be doing the is again. Thanks all

Favourite part were incredible views and how flat the route is! I was a bit nervous about not having ridden a bike for years and not being particularly fit so got three normal bikes and an electric bike for me which did the job. Efficient service from the bike hire company and e bike explained in depth very clearly. We did the Camel Trail at 11am on a busy Saturday in August but got parked behind Lidl easily, and the trail not massively busy. Pre-booked the bikes.

Enjoyed the experience, staff seemed helpful, booked bikes and paid for in advance. Bikes ready on arrival. Two electric bikes booked and received. Didn’t think the women’s bike was to the standard of the men’s bike but nonetheless we did have a good day.

Bikes as booked ready when we arrived to pick up, saddle bags for drinks and snacks (as we were cycling with a 4 year old), lock to chain the bikes up in Padstow. Excellent service. Made sure when we returned that everything was to our satisfaction. Would recommend and will use again.

Always used to be good here (we used them 2 or 3 times a year for years), but I am sorry to say that yet again we have had a poor experience.
The quality and maintenance standards of the bikes provided has gone downhill.
We order a minimum of 5 bikes each time, and recently we have had issues with at least 3 of them. Which ruins the family experience, as the majority feel like their bike is not as it should be.
Strongly recommend you hire elsewhere if you can.
