It is so good that in Saffron Walden there is still a Tourist Information Centre. Most have disappeared even from large towns and even cities. The staff are very good and the building is situated in the Market Place, so easy to find. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely friendly welcome. Very knowledgeable staff who are deeply enthusiastic for the town and all it has to offer. If they don't know the answer to your question (they will!) they will happily look it up for you.

Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre is a multi award winning centre but more than that it is a bright and vibrant place to go for information and gifts, books, cards and more and very friendly and helpful staff.
As useful to someone who has just moved into the area as a day visitor. They know all the organisations, clubs, restaurants, shops etc and the sights and delights of the town, up coming events and can provide travel timetables and maps as well.
