What an exceptionally lovely setting for a little town! You can see the surrounding bowl of beautiful hills clearly from here. The old bridge is beautiful too, and the River Usk running under it. The little street running down to it is lined with the most attractive and charming cottages. Some are, I think, holiday lets, and I plan to stay in one. This is a really peaceful and special place to be.

This 18th century bridge which spans the river Usk is well worth walking across if you're visiting Crickhowell. You can also get a good view of it from the riverside. There's a weir on one side of the bridge as well. It's a nice picturesque stone bridge.

We were staying in a village on the otherside of the river. So to get to Crickhowell you need to cross this bridge. Had driven over a few times. So we walked over. Very narrow with passing areas. its a shame the pub is closed. The best views are on the Vine tree side

Nice walk by bridge along river usk with vg views.bridge interesting as do number of arches on each side.

Truly old stones and the weir and bird life a delight. Did a walk, around town, and a highlight. Can get busy with traffic parts of the day. Good walk along the river and a field for dogs, children and just unwind.

We swam three times in the river by the bridge, on the downstream side of the bridge. It was during the July heatwave, so very nice to do.

Quant old bridge. Traffic crossing it is a nightmare, but very pretty. Stops your feet getting wet as you cross the river

There is a lovy canal walk which start in Crickhowell and crosses the bridge. It takes about an hour and takes you along the canal path past lime works. It was a lovely day and a great way to enjoy some of the scenery. We ended up back in the village and enjoyed a cold cider.

Nice enough sturdy old bridge (we went swimming in the shallow river underneath). The bridge is a single way track for cars with a pedestrian pavement alongside.
