I visited this traditional night club with my daughter and had a great time. There are two dancers that are excellent and must be recommended to see. Lackachou and Janhoy. Look out for them!

It was perfect! All locals but enough faranjis (foreigners) that they don't care. The live music and dancing, it was all a great night out in Gonder and an excuse to see "shoulder dancing". The prices for food and drinks are ridiculous but you get a free show! I got pulled on stage and they really just want you to have good time. Recommend it.

From all cultural clubs I have visited in Ethiopia I like this one most. The service, the music and the interior is just the best.
If you are staying a while in Gondar it is really a must to go there!

We are writing about the Atse Bekafa Hotel which is not yet listed at Trip Advisor. Out night there was one of the worst stays we ever had in our live time. Staff was okay. However, the hotel was not clean, it was dirty at all. It had no hot water and sometimes no water at all. Further, it was noisy. The whole night a dog was barging and when the dog was silent, the imam was singing. Please do not make the mistake to stay there over night. In addition, our tour guide organized by the hotel was crazy and angry when we did not extend our trip made with him to the mountains. He drove like madness through the mountains with us because he was angry and tried to make more money. This was really a danger for our life!

Pretty tipical ethiopian place where every night a duo plays ethiopian music and three exceptional dancers (two girls and one boy) perform ethiopian dances.
It is usually crowded and quite different and much more amazing than the traditional cultural clubs where one person plays the monostring traditional guitar and sings stories in amharic language.
