Kikuleta HotSprings also known as Chemka HotSprings, is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The water forms a crystal-clear oasis which is ideal for swimming and relaxing while small fish nibble gently at your feet 🤭. The water is not exceptionally warm but refreshing and it is as deep as 7-10meters.
Floaters are available on rental at TZS 5,000 ($2 / €2).
Located closer to Moshi than Arusha (1.5hour drive from Moshi to Arusha and a 2hour drive from Arusha), Kikuleta HotSprings is awaiting for you to come and enjoy the ‘jungle’ experience and serenity of the location.
The highlight of this experience is the rope tree swing which adds a playful twist to the adventure. The rope is secured to a sturdy tree branch.
Entrance Fee:
▪️EA Citizens & Residents: TZS 7,000 ( $3 / €2 )
▪️Non-Residents / Foreigners: $5 for ALT and $2 for CHD.

We enjoyed our day trip to Arusha National Park. They picked us up from our hotel in Moshi, and drove us to the park and back. Our guide was very good at spotting animals throughout the jeep portion. They provided a delicious and large lunch which perfectly accommodated my vegetarian diet. Our favorite part was the walking portion of the safari where we got up close to giraffes!

The best 2 weeks around Moshi.
I got a recommendation from a friend about Peters local business and it was the best trip!
Peter went above and beyond to help out and check in that everything was going okay including helping with accommodation at his lovely stay Karibu Africa home, transfers, 6 day Machame Kilimanjaro hike, local recommendations in Moshi, 3 day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, Materuni waterfall and coffee tour.
I hiked solo with a wonderful crew of 5 and a very experienced and helpful guide Johnson.
The safari was budget friendly camping and we saw the big 5!
John was an ace guide for the waterfalls and coffee tour and got some great shots 📸

The place is a very lovely place for chill out and relaxing body it has nice and quiet environment a nice place for a swim if you visit moshi this is a must go place for people who love to swim

My experience with Tarry Adventures and Safaris in Moshi was simply unforgettable! I went on a safari with them and also took a trip to the Hot Springs – and both were perfectly organized.
What I particularly liked was the consideration of nature. The safari was not a hectic “chasing after animals”, but a quiet, respectful tour where we could observe the animals in their natural habitat without disturbing them. Thanks to the experienced guides, we have nevertheless made many impressive wildlife observations – from elegant giraffes to imposing elephants to zebras and antelopes. The guides had an incredible knowledge of the animals and their behaviors, so I not only saw a lot, but also learned a lot.
After the safari, visiting the Hot Springs was just the thing. The water was crystal clear and pleasantly warm, and the surroundings were just fantastic – a real little jungle in the middle of the landscape. It was the perfect place to relax and let the impressions of the safari resonate.
The whole organization through Tarry Adventures and Safaris was outstanding, and the team was super friendly, helpful and professional. You can see that they are passionate about it and attach great importance to promoting sustainable tourism. I can only recommend them and would travel with them again at any time!

It has been an amazing experience, very familiar, personalized and at a super reasonable price, from now on as long as I can find companies like this before the macro tour companies I will. Both Peter, the guide and the private cook have been excellent! I keep your contact and this experience forever!

I was picked up at the guest house on time.
The guide was very kind and enjoyed climbing, explaining the plants and monkeys.
I was also happy to be approached by people to say that it was a good break and that it was a good pace.
Even if I am not good at English, they were easy to understand, so I was relieved.

Martin was a lovely guide who is an absolute expert on hiking the Kilimanjaro and is open to give you insights about the local life in Tanzania. The trek goes mostly through the rainforest and is nice but not outstanding so that 160$ is a lot of money for it. It was overall a good experience and the organization with Peter was absolutely perfect.

Amazing place! Cristal clear and warm water! If you like snorkelling or freediving, strongly recommend you to take all your equipment with you. Here you can find two deep caves with strong flows coming from them.

Very well organized day. Walk with explanations and time to chat. Janie kayaks and meets the fishermen.
Everything in a very friendly and friendly atmosphere.
The drive is extremely pleasant with Jon, we talk, listen to the music and stop to enjoy the scenery without any constraints. Everything is very friendly. I have very fond memories.
