Daulat Khana is a Government Museum that houses a large collection of Mughal and Rajput artifacts and paintings. The museum is well maintained. Good place to know / refresh the history knowledge.

This place shows the mix culture of Mugal and Rajputana. The galleries are full of old painting and goods of that time.

Daulat Khana is the palace housing the Ajmer/Akbar Fort and Museum. The museum has artifacts and scriptures related Mughal and Rajputana history. The local history is depicted through various installations and gallery. Its well maintained and is one the few must visited places in Ajmer. Walking distance from railway station or take an auto to reach here

På vägen mot Pushkar passerade vi detta lilla tempel. Vi stannade bilen och tog några foton ! Det låg på en sluttning upp mot ett berg nära vägbanan !

Tradition to place significant museum exhibitions in the old forts and palaces in India can be traced almost everywhere. Ajmer is not the exception. Moreover, the state Museum is housed in the Daulat Khana palace, which is located within the Fort. Perhaps this is correct and successful expedient for welcoming the visitors and giving them more opportunities to imagine the exhibits in an authentic atmosphere. Especially in such graceful Daulat Khana Palace, designed and built with a delicate taste. Books, sculptures, weaponry and ammunition of those times look not as the foreign objects, but as an integral part of the interior.

There are a tasty dish which you cannot expect. Very beautiful place and good view of stone and lake. This place is excellent for visiting and roaming. Pollution free city is also a big point of this place.
