We booked this tour for transfers from Banyuwangi to Mt. Bromo and then to Surabaya Airport.
The transfer service was excellent. Our driver, Pak Mamat, was professional, attentive, and handled all arrangements smoothly. He consistently arrived 39 minutes ahead of schedule for every pickup and was always ready to answer our questions. He even went the extra mile by providing a wake-up call and assisting with our luggage. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a reliable transfer service.
As for the Mt. Bromo tour, it was decent but nothing exceptional. The guide could have enhanced the experience by sharing more about the history and past eruptions of Mt. Bromo.

Such a great trip. Agus was delightful, so friendly, kind and curious. He spoke English really, really well, and our six hour drive between Bromo and Ijen felt like no time at all, talking and learning about Indonesia, the volcanoes, local words and foods. A great photographer too! Sopi our driver was safe and speedy, navigating roads we as Americans could never, and knew about local road closures. The Sewu waterfall was astounding-definitely check out the caves as they were an unexpected bonus at the waterfall! mt bromo did not disappoint, and at Ijen Agus helped us see the blue fire before the miners poured water on it, something that the miners do often. We were some of the few who visited that day who actually got to see it!
They helped us buy fruits at the local market, and brought us to their personal favorite restaurants for some really tasty meals. They were very thoughtful and professional and made the trip so incredibly special! We would recommend them to our friends and family in a heartbeat, and hope to visit them again in the future!

Thank you again Agus and Yusuf for introducing us to the culture of Java. From the airport (Surabaya) to the transfer to Ubud, we have nothing to complain about! For us, it was the first time we'd used a guide. We have absolutely no regrets about our choice, because in a very short space of time we learnt a lot about the sites of Mont Bromo and Mont Ijen, and above all about the culture of Java. We can only recommend that you choose this tour with Agus and Yusuf! 🙏 ☀️

We had booked the Sewu - Bromo - Ijen Tour and had the perfect company with our guide Agus and our driver Sopi. Both were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Agus was able to teach us a lot of new things through his knowledge and led the different tours perfectly. Sopi always drove us very safely and reliably to our next destination. The two of them made our tour an all-round perfect experience without us having to worry about anything!

Originally we booked the 4D3N Bromo-Tumpak-Sewu-Ijen tour, because the Ijen was closed we switched to a 3D2N Bromo-Tumpak-Sewu tour. The Booking Referral went smoothly and the deposit could be made by Wise. After that, however, the contact with the tour agency was insufficient. Several times for 2 weeks it was not answered and not informed early that the Ijen is closed. Shortly before the tour the contact was great again.
The tour itself was incredibly beautiful, definitely worth it. Especially the sunrise at Bromo is unique despite the many tourists. In addition, the accommodations were very comfortable and clean. We would especially like to thank Hasan, our tour guide. He always tried to make the tour the best possible and also managed to keep us away from the big crowds of tourists. His extremely cheerful manner will always be remembered.
The tour went smoothly and the included transfer to the hotel in Bali worked great.

Thank you to Mr Slamet, Mr Amet and the team for organising this tour for us on short notice. It was wonderful to see the beauty in nature across Java.
We really appreciated the kindness of Slamet and we wanted to thanks him for taking care of us and showing us the local culture and cuisine, we appreciate his time to teach us about the history of Java too, thank you!

Our guide Agus and the driver Yousef were very nice and attentive with us.
We enjoyed a lot and had an amazing time visiting Bromo Mount. Ijen had to close because of an earthquake and they contacted us with enough time proposing an alternative, which turned out to be amazing.
Also, the car was very comfy, clean, with AC, water supplies for every trip and tissues.
Highly recommended!

Nano was a fabulous tour guide and Mr Usup our driver was super professional.
Highly recommend the tour if you like adventure and you're used to doing some hiking. If we go back to Java, we'd not hesitate in doing another tour with the same agency! The agency was so detailed and helpful since the beginning I got in touch with some questions on Whatsapp. Good value for the price and excellent service.

The whole tour was incredible! We went with Guia Nano who organized absolutely everything for us, we didn't have to do any work and made the tour even better.

Great tour! Super organization through GWI Travel.
We booked the tour from Surabaya-Bromo-Ijen-Denpasar.
It was very easy to contact Devita (+62 822-3259-9093). All questions were answered quickly.
We had a great tour guide with Adi and a safe driver with Zainul. Great locals who did everything to ensure we had a good time.
Overall, a great experience with incredible moments and sunrise at Bromo.

Hi, I am planning to travel next week on a 3days 2 night trip to mount bromo ijen.... How much should it cost in IDR ... One of the travel agent has quoted around 5600000 IDR for this trip ... Is it reasonable with 3 star accommodation ?

Hi there, 5,600, 000 is a way too high from my view as converted it to Ringgit Malaysia. I went there last mth Sept only costs me Rm800.(also 3 star accommodation). My 2 cents of view. No offence to anyone. Thanks

We are staying at Yogjakarta at the moment but we want to do a tour that takes us along side Mt bromo and Iljen when going to Bali. I saw that you do a tour of 2 days where you go to Mt bromo and Iljen starting at Malang and finishing in the harbor to go to Bali?! We Would really like to do a tour but can you tell me how much it will cost for 2 persons leaving at Malang and finishing at the harbor to go to Bali?

Hi, I recommend you to use some private tour, for flexibility, efficiency and privacy. If you want to get some cozy private tour in East Java Area, I suggest you to call Mr. Edu from Java Private Tour. You can search him in google or find Java Private Tour in Tripadvisor as well.

We Are Travel Agent
Day 1 : Malang – Bromo – Ijen
Depart at 01.00 am, we will pick you up from the Hotel in Malang then drive to Bromo. It takes around 2 hours to Penanjakan 2770 m (the highest point view). We will see the sunrise around 05.30 am and following by the panorama of Mt. Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. After having seen it, we continue the trip to Bromo crater via sea of sand, then 45 minutes on food to Bromo crater. After the Bromo tour is over, we drive you around 5 hours to Ijen. Later, we stay overnight at Catimor or Arabika home stay. Both of them located in the middle of coffee plantation. If those accommodation is fully booked, then we will stay overnight at Bondowoso.
Day 2 : Ijen – Transfer to Ketapang Harbor
At 04.00 am we start the trip to Paltuding (the trekking point). Then we start for smooth trekking to the top of Ijen. It will take about 1,5 hours or more to go to the top of Crater. As long the way up, we can see the activities of sulfur miners when they carrying sulfur from the bottom of crater. You will also see the Green Lake that contain with the sulfur material. After we finish the program, we need about 1 hour to drive you till Ketapang Harbor. Around 11.00 am you will be arrive there and waiting for the ferry cross to Bali. End of program.
