We did a full day tour of Bagan with Myo, who picked us up from the bus station not long after we arrived from Inle Lake, although we got there at 4am, a full hour ahead of the scheduled arrival time. After leaving our luggage at our accommodation, we were taken to a spot to watch the sunrise - and Myo picked the perfect spot for us, and ensured that we got there early enough to beat the crowds.
After breakfast, we started the tour of Bagan proper on our e-scooters. As my friend and I were beginners and had never ridden on e-scooters before, Myo gave us a short crash course and for the rest of the day, we drove along at a leisurely pace, with Myo making sure that we were safe and comfortable at all times.
We visited the main temples, plus several “secret” photo spots only Myo knows. We ended with so many great shots we’re not quite sure which to upload onto social media without seeming self-infatuated.
Myo also recommended us a great lunch place that was very value for money - we couldn’t finish the standard set meal. Were served a mean lassi as well, so good.
Overall, great time in Bagan with Myo, who is warm, friendly and very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Bagan. Your to go person if you’re keen to learn more about Buddhism as well.

We only had one day in Bagan and got Myo as our guide so we could hit all the major spots and learn the history at the same time. Myo was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt tons. He was also really helpful whether in terms of providing us with wet tissues and hand sanitizer after toilet breaks, helping us through our ebike troubles or calling the domestic flight office to check on timings. Would def recommend!

Bagan war ein Highlight unserer 3-wöchigen Reise durch Myanmar. Und das lag nicht an der Ballonfahrt über die umwerfenden Tempelfelder, sondern zum Großteil an Myo. Ein Herz von Mensch und der beste Guide unserer Reise! Fröhlich und aufgeschlossen hat er uns drei Tage die Highlights dieser unbeschreiblich schönen Königstadt gezeigt und sein Wissen mit vielen persönlichen Anekdoten untermauert. Wir hatten großen Spaß und haben viel erfahren. Myo ist in Bagan geboren und liebt seine Heimat, der Ananda Tempel war in der Kindheit sein liebster Spielplatz. Das spürt man total, diese Energie schwappt über - wir haben seine Gesellschaft sehr genossen!! Durch kleine Auszeiten, fantastische Photo-Spots oder auch mal einen kurzen Besuch im Teehaus hat Myo das durchaus intensive Sight-Seeing-Programm äußert erlebbar gestaltet. Wir haben ihn in diesen paar Tagen sehr ins Herz geschlossen und empfehlen ihn wärmstens!!

I spent a full day with Myo and his driver Ko. I have pretty high expectations when I hire a private tour guide and Myo’s knowledge, friendliness and excellent English and communication skills were beyond what I could wish for. I wished more tour guides were like him. I already recommended him to my friends arriving to Bagan. You will be thrilled!

I travelled to Myanmar for two weeks. Before traveling I was searching for a tour guide for Mandalay and Bagan. I came across Myo and from emailing him I decided he was the guide I wanted. He arranged a guide for me in Mandalay (as he is based in Bagan) and during my time there Myo would message me at the end of each day to make sure I was happy with my guide and tour in Mandalay. He picked me up from the bus station after I travelled from Mandalay. Once I’d left my bags at the hotel we got our ebikes and started our tour straight away. Myo knows everything, and I mean everything(!!!), there is to know about Bagan. He explained in so much detail about pagodas, temples and Buddhism. Any question I asked he answered in detail. You can tell he has so much passion for what he does and he has really good English so it’s easy to understand everything he says. He also knows all the best places to take photos. I genuinely fell in love with Bagan and I believe Myo has played a big part in that. I can’t recommend him enough!

We had a one day tour with Myo. He is a very good tour guide with lots of knowledge about Bagan and especially about Buddhism. Besides his knowledge, he has a wonderful photography skill. He can recommend where and how to take a good picture and he also took many beautiful pictures for us himself.

As part of a small group tour, I spent several days in Bagan and the surrounding area in January 2019 with Myo as our guide. Bagan is a fantastic area to explore and there is so much to see and do that having an experienced local guide provided the best possible experience. Myo was very informative, he was able to explain the various types of architecture and Buddha images. He was flexible, which allowed for some of our group to explore via e-bike and others by taxi. With his knowledge of the area we went to off the beaten path locations for sunset. Myo was also helpful in suggesting places for dinner and other activities once we wrapped up touring for the day. I highly recommend contacting Myo if you are planning to visit Bagan.

We had Myo Min Thu as our tour guide around Bagan for two days in January 2019. He was so wonderful and made the experience fun and interesting. He really knows his stuff, so you are sure to get good background on all the pagodas and temples while also exploring some lesser known spots. Highly recommend!

We had 2 days in Bagan with Myo Minthu, he is a nice driver and tour guide. He brought us to many places and explain the story of each one.

We are a group of 6 people coming from Vietnam. Our tour started at about 6am in the early morning when Min Thu picked us up from bus station, transfer to hotel for taking a rest. He is great tour guide, very knowledge and flexible, making our first day in Bagan so memorable and meaningful. Bagan is the place that you love at first sight not only because of the magnificent beauty but friendly people.
