Thet took me for a four hours tour of the temples of Bagan, driving around on rental e-bikes. I had such a good experience that I booked her for another 4 hours tour the next morning!
Thet speaks very good English, is from Bagan and has profound knowledge that she will happily share with you, be it History, Buddhism, Architecture, Arts - there is no question she would not answer, and I had many! Thet managed to organize a very complete tour, despite the fact that the authorities had decided at short notice to close all major temples during the long week-end (I am sure the suffering local tourism will be grateful...!). She also gave me excellent advice for other activities (sunset boat trip - very nice) and restaurants (Moon - excellent!). To top it all, Thet has a very pleasant personality, which made the two tours even more enjoyable.

In November 2019 I was on a self-managed tour round Burma and met Min Thein Myint through the courtesy of a colleague. I had an extra day free in Bagan and he organised for me a tour in some most interesting places, off the normal circuits which I appreciated very much. He is a pleasant person, speeks good English, can tell you stories of the past of this country, perfect to stimulate and intrigue everyone's interest. So you can hire him and you will not be disappointed.

We hired them during our stay in Bagan and it was best decision we could have made. They explain everything in a way you don't get the impression of being getting just data but real and useful information instead.

We had a great private tour with Thet.
Starting with a breakfast at a local teahouse she took us around town and all the sights. Sunrise on a hill and the market visit were definitely highlights. Thet knew everything about history and daily life and recommended several spots for the following days too us.
Highly recommended!

Thet Thet was our guide for 2 days in and around Bagan. Her knowledge of Bagan and its history is great. She has also given us very interesting information about contemporary life in Myanmar. It was not just dry facts, but also the peculiarities of local life. For example, obsession with astrology. Or naming the people of Myanmar.
She's fun and smiling forever. It is very tactful and unobtrusive. Helpful. Beyond the agreed two-day services on the third day she got up early in the morning and personally escorted us to the railway station. She helped us buy a train ticket and escorted us to the wagon.
During our stay in Myanmar we had three private guides. The others were also very good, but Thet Thet was the best of them. Actually, when I think about it, she was probably one of the best guides I had on my travels around the world. And I've passed dozens of countries in Europe, Asia and both Americas.

When I made preparations for my summer holiday in 2015, I found out that, for women (& girls), it was difficult to study, work,...As a result of that a huge majority of guides were men. In that way, I asked the resort I was staying to arrange me a female guide.
I went on a 2-day sightseeing tour with Thet Thet around the many lovely places in Bagan ! I guess at that time, she didn’t work as a guide for a long time. But she could tell me all what I wanted to know. She put a good schedule together to explore Bagan and to avoid rush hours on busy places. Also visiting some less know but amazingly beautiful locations !
In my opinion, It’s always better to support a local small team than a big company where you are guest number 684!
I can highly recommend her as a guide ! You will have a magnificent time in Bagan !

We spent two days with Min in Bagan, including Mt. Popa. We saw and learned far more with him than we possibly could have on our own. He represents his country and Buddhism with enthusiasm and thoughtful insights. At the end of our two days with Min, we appreciated and admired Myanmar and Buddhism even more than we already had before meeting him. His cheerful personality on top of his skill as a guide makes him an excellent choice for those who want to get to know this enchanting part of the world.

The time I had with Min in 2018 was so good that i decided to come back in 2019 and celebrated with my mother her 80 year old birthday. Min is perfect. professional. smart. Can simplify Budha ideas to you in a way no book as ever did for me before. Bagan is a perfect location and min is a perfect guide to show you the area. I am looking forward to go to Myanmar again and spend additional time with him, maybe i will convince him to take me to other locations of Myanmar that i did not see

i am sorry to say no for the spanish speaking guide running for Bagan.As the english guide mostly base in Bagan.
