This tour is perfect for exploring some landmarks in the region south of Manila, especially the volcanic landscapes and amazing waterscape of Pagsanjan. It includes an adventourous upstream boat ride to reach the waterfalls. Since the recent eruption, trekking on the Taal has been prohibited. Our driver Daniel was competent, punctual, and very friendly. He even handled our food order along the way so that when we got to the restaurant we just had to sit back, relax and enjoy the local food! He also explained us about local customs. We definitely reccomend this experience!

Great itinerary. I was very happy to be able to see two different parts of the island as most tours only offer like 8 hours in one location, which I was not interested in. I didn't mind the long car rides because I got to see a lot passing by, and I napped a bit. But the traffic is something to consider so don't be in a hurry to get back to Manila. My driver was awesome though. Super nice and helpful, and definitely stopped for bathroom breaks and anything else I needed along the way.
The boat ride around Taal lake costs extra, and at first I wasn't sure I should do it, but I'm glad I did. I love being on the water and it was a great, peaceful start to the day. You can really see the lava formations on the other side of the island.
I did not realize that at Pagsanjan Falls, the boatmen literally push your boat upstream through the rapids to the main falls, and then it's a coast back downstream. These guys work HARD and deserve generous tips so please take that into consideration when you budget for this excursion. The scenery is beautiful and even though I was a little scared of the rapids at first, it was pretty smooth and not scary. You will get wet, but I was ready for that. It was a great day.

Amazing trip to the waterfalls! Beautiful scenery and our tour guide, Daniel was amazing! A definite recommend for tourists in Manila

5Star for Daniel H. Our tour guide.
Punctual, represented the Philippine hospitality to the top level. Easy going, knowledgeable guide.
The stops were fantastic. Best of course. Waterfall 😲😲. And the way they get you there, ooo weeee.
TAAL volcano is nice, often hazzy (fog) so it’s difficult to get a crisp 4K picture, but still clear enough that the beauty is there) (See pics as example)
You will likely get fully wet at the waterfall, so have spare change of clothes and crocs’ / water shoes. Waterproof phone case. (Local shop offers if you forget).
There was a painting festival starting (end of April) where they paint large murals on the water banks that you can see as you’re taken to the falls.
Heads up, Average “expected” tip is about 1,000 pesos. For the waterfall trip, and your guide should be similar (of course that’s just my recommendation, you should tip how you wish.)
They say you don’t have to, but honestly. These guy deserve it.
I’d ramble on about the beauty and experience, but I’m not spoiling it! Enjoy!

We had a lovely day. The guides were amazing. Really nice couple very knowledgeable and great English. The volcano first part we were unlucky due to the fog but the second part (the waterfall) was truly an amazing experience.

Daniel was the tour guide and he showed me beautifull places. Daniel likes to tell about his contry. Rafting in the wooden boats in authentic, the waterfalls are an amazing experience.

Where shall I start? The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Floridel was on time to pick us up in our hotel. He was very informative and hospitable. The canoe ride to Pagsanjan Falls was unforgettable. Overall a Fantastic day. Highly recommended 😊

Great holiday only Agoda let us down
Our accommodation was booked months in advance but, they did not have it on our arrival Agoda was hopeless and stuffed our accommodation offering no help whatsoever. Just standard us with no phone or web available to us we were stuffed, on contacting them they just gave us the run around they had staff that could not speak or understand English
Just hopeless they took our money and said they would give it back but after two weeks they refused to put it back I had to threaten them with contacting the Singaporean police and Australian Federal police on more than one occasion
They took the word of one of their vendors saying we cancelled the booking when we did not just to much b/s from them you have been warned keep well away book else where

This was a great excursion that was veryyyy well worth the money. You start early but our group didn’t mind after seeing everything we got to do. Bring cash for the first stop at the observation deck for the volcano. The falls was an unforgettable experience and definitely bring cash to tip the boatmen they were great. People commented that they wish more things were explained on the tour but if you simply ask questions they have no problem answering. Restaurant was very good, the driver/tour guide Daniel was great and very considerate. 10/10 recommend this.
