We went with a group of eight friends and got to do the zip lining, lunch, pool, lagoon, and village. Leonardo was the best guide and made it a great time!

By far the best excursion our family has ever taken. We took the private catamaran tour with 16 family members ranging in age from my youngest of 3 to my parents in their 60s and all had the time of their lives! Once on board the catamaran the crew made us feel like friends not just clients. The bartender didn't waste anytime serving cocktails for the adults and soft drinks/water for the kids. The first stop was the amazing snorkeling tour. The crew had what looked to be thousands of Beautiful fish swimming around as soon as you got off the boat. I thought that was enough but no, The crew then instructed us to follow where we swam through a beautiful coral reef. The entire time I felt safe with our instructor to have even my 9 year old take the tour no problem. After snorkeling we took another ride to our next stop the Dominican national park. Along the way William (more on him later) was giving us history on the park and some of the resorts we were passing along the way. Arriving at the beach of the park allowed us to get out and explore the beautiful beach and get out and let the kids enjoy swimming in the beautiful clean water. I believe William said only the catamaran tours can stop at this beach making it feel very private. Like our own private beach day. How can you go wrong with a private catamaran tour over a coral reef and virtually private beach day! What REALLY made this excursion though was the crew!
Captain didn't talk much, stayed focused on the task at had which was navigating the catamaran and did an amazing job! I have experience in boating so I know the challenge it can be and the captain executes flawlessly making you feel safe putting your family on.
The crew member that acted as deck hand as well as snorkling tour did amazing! Took us to some AWESOME corals and made us feel safe out there. He will also keep you engaged when he has some downtime. You could catch him trying to throw the football with member of our party any chance he got.
On the tour you will have a personal photographer, He mostly stays behind the scenes capturing those candid moments but he did an amazing job. I cant remember if he is a member of Bavaro Adventure park or not but know these pictures are an additional cost if you choose to purchase them after the tour which we did.
The bartender was amazing. She took a liking to my 3 year old right away (maternal instincts I think) and invited her for a tour of the boat to break her out of her nervous shell and that she did. She was dancing and singing within no time :) I joked (but not really) to the bartender that she does her job TOO GOOD! Before I finished my last sip, It seemed she was there to greet me with my next, no matter where I was, On the boat, In the water, or on the beach. You will NOT go thirsty on this tour I can promise you that! After snorkeling she served us chips, salsa and queso. It's just tostitos, don't expect fancy nachos or anything but it hit the spot after snorkeling!
Finally William our main tour guide. William made the tour fun from the start even when dealing with the boring paperwork. William truly made you feel like a friend from the start. William speaks fluent English with no noticeable language or accent barrier. I believe it was said he speaks 12 languages fluently. With William as your tour guide, you can not go wrong!

The tour was very fun! Daniel was very friendly and helpful. The only feedback I would give is that they do not tell you that they take away your phones, bags and yoy can’t bring anything with you. I was very upset about that.

The trip was great. The staff was very friendly and kind. Everyone was so helpful. The activities were very fun. Coca-Cola, Big Big Willy, and Andressaint were all extremely helpful and great guides.

This was a great time. Fun for everyone! Leonardo, Coca-Cola, and Thomas were top notch!! The food was amazing and the drinks were ice cold and delicious. Big Willie was so funny! I can't wait to come back.

Rode the Polaris, had a great time! Swam in the cenote and the waterfall was beautiful but a lil chilly. Leo was great as a tour guide and very upbeat.

It was such an experience Mr Coca-Cola and Coconut were great . However downside of the activities is that you are not allowed phones during ATV rides then they try to sell you your pictures at the end of your day for $USD129.

Nice shopping complex.
However, we found that there was a waste of time.
The output was sold as a buggy output at the base but too little for our taste.

Hola Verofiorini! Permitimos el uso de go pro con cinta para la cabeza (también lo rentamos dentro del parque) o en el casco en caso de buggies y polaris. Somos muy estrictos con la seguridad de modo que intentamos eliminar cualquier objeto que pueda molestar o entorpecer las actividades.

We recommend some comfortable clothes and closed shoes. Remember you can choose between regular, pro, splash and megasplash zipline. Splash modalities you land on water, so it's clever to bring your swimsuit to.

Should we make our reservation before leaving home or just wait until we get to our resort?
And, how many attractions do you recommend we buy tickets for? I looked on their website and they appear to have a number of different packages with a different number of attractions?

I think it really depends on your physical ability and age of people participating. We were two adults and kids aged 11. We did the VIP as we did 7 attractions plus the natural pool and it included all our lunches. If you plan on staying there the whole day, I suggest the big package. However if you only plan on being there for a 4 hour block, you won't have enough time to do everything they have to offer. I hope this helps.

Can anyone please tell me what the difference is between the zip line regular and the pro? Also what is a Himalayan bridge?

We did the pro and I think it's more ziplines but also the Himalayan bridge is this tightrope section you have to walk through. It has big rope netting on one side of you that you have to hold on to while walking on this rope bridge. You have to climb from one net to the other. It was honestly terrifying to me and not expected at all. Not the kind of fun scary. It really freaked me out

Yes, they can both go. Perfect ages for the tour, they will have so much fun. You can book in the lobby of the hotel and A tour bus will come and pick you up and then drop you off.
