Beautiful reserve of African penguins. We bought the tour with the Red Bus company. The visit was to Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Beach. It was so worth it.

We came to Cape town and our guide Francis took us to this restaurant on the way to see the penguin beach. My sister is the pickiest eater and they accommodated her needs. Staff was friendly. Food was excellent and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant! The views are spectacular and it’s an inviting place to go with your family.

Anywhere I can go and watch the penguins is a fun spot to me. Parking can be difficult very busy times but they do have an attendant. Toilets, cafe and beautifully picturesque space.

Parking is a problem on a very hot day but still very well worth the visit. Perfect clear water for snorkeling and the views here are a natural beauty. Not much to say other than good sunny days, calm waters and cute acting penguins.

Das gehört einfach dazu :-) Schade nur dass wir mehr für den Eintritt zahlen als Einheimische - das war die letzten Jahre nicht der Fall :-(

Car parking available with an attendant to tip. Toilets, cafe, avoid weekends if possible.
A smaller version of Boulders Beach but free! Family beach which looked suitable for children. Not so many penguins, area is roped off but photo opportunities. If you are lucky you will see the penguins go for a swim and reappear on a rock really near you.

Der Seaforth Beach ist fußläufig vom Eingang Boulder Beach Penguin colony zu erreichen ( ca. 5 Minuten mit 5-jährigem Kind). Er kostet keinen Eintritt. Der Strand ist öffentlich und nicht ganz so schön wie boulders Beach. Aber dafür ist er deutlich leerer und man sieht viele Pinguine am Strand. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen und die Pinguine werden noch nicht so gestresst wie am boulders beach. An einem Nachmittag waren wir allein mit den Pinguinen.

Yes, you will not be surrounded by penguins everywhere but at the delightful price of FREE is definitely very much better thank the 160 rand required at boulders. Free accesible parking and a lovely restaurant that’s not overcrowded definitely seal the deal for me!
