Lord Vishnu Temple right next to Pushkar Sarovar, there was a different sense of peacefulness once you step inside the compound of Rangji Temple, and Architecture otherwise itself is worth noticing.

The temple is a dedication to the Lord Vishnu, incarnation Lord Rangji. It is believed that the temple was commissioned in 1823 by Seth Puran Mal Ganeriwal who was from Hyderabad. There are idols of other gods as well in the temple such as those of Goddamaji, Goddess Laxmi, Lord Krishna and Shri Ramanujacharya. Photography i not allowed inside the temple. You can see some good examples of paintings and frescoes on the walls

Foreigners not allowed. Not just inside the temple, but even on the temple grounds. Only place in India that I encountered this. If they want to reduce the number of people they should make a charge for tourists, but to make an outright ban based on non-Indian nationality is just wrong.

Rangji Temple is South Indian style temple, dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu and one of the famous temples in Pushkar. This is a Hindu worship place so non-hindus are not allowed inside temple.

A very holy place and no acces for non-hindoes, but you can take nice pictures from the entrance. The temple is in the buildingstyle of South India.

Ne ratez pas ce temple du Sud de l'Inde dans le Nord du pays entretenu par la communauté tamoule qui y vient aussi en pélerinage. Au niveau architecture, vous pourrez apprécier le fait que les deux styles s'y mêlent sans problème et avec esthétisme. Peut-être entendrez-vous, en tendant l'oreille, les classes de chant ou de danse qui répètent dans le périmètre de cet espace privilégié en dehors du brouhaha de la ville.
