We love this farmer's market. It Is large enough to find plenty of great veges and fruit but small enough to get thru in a short time if you like. There are flowers, music, Booths of a nice variety and friendly people with food as well if you want to grab a bite to eat there. Lots of restaurants with outdoor eating all down the street. It's a fun night...Thursdays.

We really like the fact that we just step out our door and the market is only a few steps away. There are fewer vendors this year so the selections are less but still good for organic produce and still have a few prepared food vendors. The green area has lots of inflated jumpys for the kids. Also many bring family down and set up on the green. There is also a public potty set up for those that come down for the farmers market.

One of the Best Farmers Markets I have been too. There is a wide range of Organic fruits and Veggies. You can even get fresh chicken eggs, quail eggs and duck eggs! Great food trucks and other types of eats. The area on first street is beautiful as is, during the Famers Market there is and extra charm as locals come out in droves to sample food, wine, enjoy the weather, each other and listen to the live music that can be heard up and down the street. Pro tip. If you are buying strawberries wait until the market is almost over. The berries are sold at a huge discount and are some of the best I have had! Don't forget to bring cash and look for the bouncy house on the green. Its a great place to let the little ones jump out some energy while you sample your goods on a picnic blanket and enjoy the view!

Great farmers market! Not huge but just the right size. Lots of different seasonal fruit and veggies, as well as various food vendors. The baked potato vendor is always a popular place!!

We lived in Benicia for years and went to the Farmers Market every Thursday evening. We loved the fresh fruits & veggies - the farmers give samples of the fruits which is awesome and makes for a dynamic atmosphere. Loads of flower vendors as well. We love the food trucks - always get something delicious for dinner and sit eating and listening to the live musician of the day. It’s also a social event - we always ran into people we knew in town.
Having moved away - the farmers market in our new town does not have the energy and atmosphere of the Benicia Farmers Market. We miss this market and love to come back when we can.

Great selection of fresh and local fruits and veggies in season. Friendly vendors also bring specialties like biscotti and olive oil and balsamics. Gorgeous flowers every week, live music, local food vendors and you can make a full evening of it. Usually starts at 4 pm on Thursdays. Downtown Benicia is charming and historical, also close to a large park for the kiddies.

It’s always fun to go to the Benicia Farmers Market. They have a great selection of produce, flowers....and food!! If you don’t eat at one of the vendor stands, you can always run into one of the many excellent restaurants on First Street.

This is a weekly Farmer’s Market in downtown Benicia that runs from late April to late October on Thursdays. The time - which varies with daylight - is 4:00 to 7:00 pm - approximately. There are many local produce kiosks plus various others selling jewelry, purses, honey, etc. There are food wagons, too, offering various entrees from hot dogs to hamburgers - and everything else in between. There is always live music with a seating area to sit and listen to the tunes. This market has tons of local energy - a real hometown feel - and many locals come to meet and greet. The local stores enjoy the increased foot traffic, too. After all, Thursday is the new Friday! Love this event and home town feel!

We love dropping in on the farmers market every Thursday evening. We will undoubtedly run into someone we know, which is always nice. I have to go home with some kettle corn and my husband brings home cookies. We also love the fresh fruits and veges, which are abundant. The fish tacos, when they are there, are the best we have ever eaten anywhere! and for $5 it is our preferred Farmers Market dinner. We love to eat them on a bench looking over the water. The fish tacos were not at the Farmers market in 2017, but hopefully will be back.
