Big Enough but not too Big

Big enough to cater to a good shopping experience but no so big that you feel worn out and "over it". Lunch at Ruby's Diner made it a great few hours and we nabbed some good bargains

Decent stores with decent prices!

Decent amount of stores with good prices! Kept us busy for 3 hours when we had a free day! Right off the highway so not too much of a distance from where you are staying or going for the rest of the day

Outstanding staff at Ralph Lauren rescue stranded tourist

We can’t praise highly enough the manager and staff from the Ralph Lauren store, they went the extra ten miles for us when we got ourselves stranded at the Carlsbad outlets.
We needed to get back to Oceanside by taxi, our UK phone was not working. The manager called us a local taxi but they did not turn up even after a second call ! Then the staff volunteered to give us a ride in their personal car back to Oceanside!
Outstanding!
Can not thank them enough.

Tiene buenas ofertas pero es muy pequeño si no estás cerca de la zona no recomendaría te desplazaras desde San Diego a este outlet mejor quedarse con el que está cerca de la frontera ya que se encuentra a aprox media hora de San Diego .De lo contrario si vas de paso hacia Los Angeles es buena opción para hacer una parada corta.

What a difference a year makes!

Last visit, this earned a so-so evaluation then but this time, it was awesome! We brought our family of 3 along and they found everything their hearts desired. The 12 year old scored big-time in Osh Kosh (size 14) and all the other members found shoes, clothing, and anything/everything else they needed or wanted. The discounts were off-the-charts incredible!

Our family member remarked that this impressed him as a very up-scale outlet mall, better than he'd found in the Bay Area. During our several-hours long stop, we frequented no fewer than 10 stores and walked out with bags from each one of those stores.

Find this mall at the foot of the flower farm in Carlsbad.

Mid sized outlet

This is not a large mall but I would show a mid size outlet.
The location is convenient.
There are good array of shops with decent discount.
The food options are plenty.

Worth a visit, good discount stores, nice centre

I enjoy outdoor outlet malls like this one, and I have been to several across California and Nevada (Vegas) over the past 10 years. This one is of a medium size, not tiny - but not the hugest. It has a good selection of stores for women, men and children. So it is decent mix of popular retailers. Covid has impacted some of the stores so some have closed/changed but most are still open. I can't ever go here without buying at least something, I always find a bargain which is good and not so good! I live locally and sometimes just want to wander around and check it out, as its a pleasant place, and overall I find the mix of homegoods, sports, clothing, accessories etc to be appealing. At the moment I haven't seen huge sales across the stores - so Im not tempted to buy a huge amount there right now - but having said that -I have still been able to find some great buys , great quality items heavily reduced. Would love to see more big sales across more stores though. Good, free parking.

Small. Thought it would be larger. The Flower Fields behind the mall was a better attraction. Starbucks location closed there.

Kind of a big let-down

Maybe our expectations were set too high. Our normal outlet mall favorite is the Camarillo Outlet Mall and, okay, this Carlsbad outlet mall did not deliver. The stores we visited (quite a few, actually) were stocked with older merchandise (in our opinion) and what they had was somewhat overpriced. We did find some things at Banana Republic but struck out everywhere else.

We would not go out of our way to come back to the mall.
