Hidden in a Comstock fairytale building behind the courtyard of The Tuck Box on Dolores St north of 7th Ave is a wonderful place that sells cocoa-based skin care products produced by the owner and her oncologist life partner, She also offers massage and esthetician services by appointment; plus handmade chocolate truffles. An experience not to be missed!

Myself and my friend were on a very long road trip, and after 300 miles this spa was a fantastic way to relax. Maren and her team are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The massages we had were excellent. Lovely service, lovely people, lovely surroundings. I can't recommend this spa highly enough.

My husband and I were visiting Carmel and we stumbled across the Cocoa Spa! The place is amazing! The building is actually the famous architect Comstock's original workshop and it was like walking into a fairytale. The outdoor succulent garden was magical. My husband received a wonderful massage in the outdoor spa room and he was in bliss for days. I opted for an amazing facial treatment which included a hand painted chocolate mask. My skin has never looked or felt better. I purchased a few of their signature skin care products and I wish there was a Cocoa in western New York! The owner was a delightful woman and goes by "The Chocolate Lady." A great experience!

We had friends visiting this week for all of the Carmel festivals and after playing a few rounds of golf my friend and I decided to try the new Cocoa Spa for a massage. My wife had a facial there earlier in the week and highly recommended it. Bob and I were amazed that there was a huge hidden succulent garden in the middle of Delores St. The massages were amazing and the chocolate was amazing. The therapist was as nice as could be and the owner "The Chocolate Lady" was a great host and made us feel like part of the family. I will return again for sure.
