we camped here with friends and enjoyed bike riding and walking in town. it was great on week days but crowded on the weekend

The drive is another way off Coronado Island without the speeding traffic going over the main bridge. Great views and the State Park is very nice. Didnt have time to stay but it looks as nice as the other beaches around the island.

There is a bike path along Silver Strand and a few places to stop to view nature. You can see different types of birds from the lookouts. The bike path is nicely marked but is very close to the road.

We rode our bikes to this and enjoyed the scenery. A nice little bike ride and beautiful pictures can be taken.

I rode the Bayshore Bikeway from downtown to the Silver Strand State Beach. It's great for a ride, protected from the highway. There were a few stopping places, but only one with a monument and information about terns. I enjoyed the flowers and the ropes course on one side of the road with military men practicing, as well as being able to see both the bay and the ocean at some points.

We came here to do a stroller run and weren't disappointed. There are dirt paths that parallel the bike path that are interspersed with informational tiles and sculptures that make this not just any trail.
There's also some scenic spots -- including a wing-shaped deck and what looks like a small stone amphitheater.
Lots of people use this area for exercise -- we saw many runners and cyclists during our time out here.

A great bike ride along the southbay bike ride; you'll enjoy the scenic flavor of the nature's bridge to discovery. A perfect way to view if is on your bike and one can enjoy the birds and nature and the beauty of it all. Come and see for yourself.

This is a Nature Trail that runs next to Silver Strand Blvd in Coronado. It runs between the Fiddler's Cove Marina and NAB Coronado You can start on either end of the trail and it has a walking path with several elevated decks for viewing San Diego and San Diego Bay as well as a Solstice Clock and some points with information about the area. Always seems to have people riding, running or walking along the area.
