Make this your first stop in Coronado. Staff are friendly and helpful and the property / hotel are gorgeous.

You need to go there at least once. Step back in time, very special and very unique. the shops are fun and the restaurants were packed with people. The ambiance is wonderful. Go and see The Coronado Hotel, you will not be disappointed.

A must stop place to gather brochures and interesting facts about the island. There is a small well stocked gift shop and museum. The museum was closed when we went but I I'll definitely be back and check it out. The employees are able to answer all of your questions about the island..

Bellissima la strada per arrivare qui, il cavalcavia per superare la baia è super panoramico e, oltre che i pick up ci supera anche qualche aereo che sta scendendo o decollando dall'aeroporto. Resta, come un simbolo, il grande albergo che ha ospitato gli attori di "A qualcuno piace caldo", il giardino del quale è visitabile e contiene fiori e ortaggi anche piuttosto inusuali. C'è anche un negozio di souvenir, ma sinceramente, a parte i prezzi da oreficeria, conteneva porcellane tedesche, saponi e profumi francesi, teiere inglesi, insomma... di locale?? Nulla.
Comunque la spiaggia è sconfinata, pulitissima e assolutamente da non perdere.
Sono onesta, non ho resistito a fare una foto sotto la pianta dove ha posato Marilyn.

Quelle belle plage à une traversée de San Diego! Belle grande plage. Le transport en commun est gratuit pour traverser la péninsule durant l’été. Quelle belle idée! C’est un endroit très agréable pour les familles. Petit coup de cœur!

We did not stay here, but it was nice to visit this historical building, even in the rain. Great beach and grounds, but we struggled to find a good coffee shop for a quick cuppa and actually wandered into the Coronado shopping district for this.

We walked past the visitor center numerous times and when it was open we saw a lot of people using their services. We never used the center due to researching all about Coronado Island and my husband was stationed at San Diego years prior and knew the area well. You can not miss this building, can see it in the distance.Have fun!!
