While the gardens are pricey even by CA standards, the winding paths and flowers are really nice. Very peaceful, no real bathroom.

If you like flowers, this is a place to visit. Very well groomed. Altho it is small, it is worth the visit.

I visit all botanical gardens that I can while traveling. This one is pleasant but could use an expanded plant palette. I would have liked to explore the wooded trail but did not have bug spray with me. Short visit.

The gardens are gorgeous and peaceful. The plants are thoughtfully arranged so each one can be enjoyed for its own merits and we didn't feel like we were going into sensory overload. The winding trails are delightful. A lot of love has obviously gone into the place.

It was still early so only the early spring flowers in bloom but still a lovely visit with lots of winding trails up and down the hill side or you can take a less aggressive dirt roadway to the top of the hill and enjoy the vista around the "mound". Super friendly ticket taker and reasonable pricing.

The gardens have grown up so much in the time we’ve been visiting, and it is gorgeous. Even with autumn and plants dying back, it is beautiful.
We were really bummed we were too early for their gala weekend, which was subsequently cancelled, but they’re still having a picnic day (BYO) and live music.
They allow well mannered dogs $5 admission, or $20 for a canine membership.
If you’re in the mood for a lovely walk, this is the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed this garden with its beautiful plants, delightful staff and very interesting features. The walk through the hillsides to the All Happy Now” earth sculpture was both fun and meditative.

Very enjoyable seeing the plants and landscape. Lots of hiking if your able and if not still plenty to see.

Loved this little botanical garden- maybe because at the time we went so many flowers were in bloom! It's small and manageable, but you have the option of taking a 3/4 mile walk on the grounds too if you want. Has a small nursery if you want to buy plants. Super clean port-a-potty is your bathroom option. All in all a lovely visit.

HINTS/TIPS: If you’re into botanical gardens, this is the one to join. For $35/single or $50/family, you get membership not only in this garden, you get admission into gardens around the country...it’s a screaming bargain. In Los Angeles, by comparison, you’ll pay $90+ to join Descanso Gardens. With this membership, you go in for free.
For an extra $20, your dog can join and gets his/her own membership card. However, they don’t allow dogs on the lawns. This I do not understand. How can you tell dogs to stay off grass? That’s like telling a child not to breathe.
Pee before you go. They only have porta-potties.
The labyrinth is worth the hike for the able-bodied. Be aware, though, it’s a bit of a hike - steep in places - but gorgeous. Awesome.
