Impressive in So Many Ways!

This review is way overdue, but Trentadue is so worthy of praise that I wanted to contribute.

In September, my husband and I had reservations for a tasting that I actually got via Groupon because a fellow TA contributor had mentioned it. It really is a great deal…discounted wine tasting and a free bottle of wine.

We were seated in the beautiful outdoor garden area on comfortable patio furniture. Jasmine was pouring wines for us. She was exceptional! She and her family lived nearby and worked at Trentadue so it was a family affair. It was clear that she has a true love for her job at Trentadue, the wines she was pouring and out of all the area, where she grew up. She was not only friendly, interesting to talk to and knowledgable about the wines but offered to pour us a couple of wines off the list which is appreciated and enjoyed.

Although North Sonoma County wine country (Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley) is our favorite, we’ve tasted wines all over California, Oregon, Washington, several states back east, Canada, Italy and Australia. Rarely can we honestly say that every wine we sampled was excellent, but Trentadue was one of those rare exceptions.

Add to that the overall experience at this beautiful winery and the wonderful service we received from Jasmine. After we finished our wine tasting, we set up our picnic lunch and ordered a glass of our favorite wine from the tasting. It couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience. Thank you Jasmine for making it extra special!

Disappointing

Terribly disappointed with the service we received. We had looked forward to visiting this beautiful winery only to have it ruined by subpar customer service…which is unfortunate as they had no other guests present. When we arrived server behaved as if they were “bothered” by our presence and then couldn’t wait for us to leave…completely ruined the experience or my interest in their wine…if you’re in the area pass this one up…go down the road to places who welcome and appreciate your patronage.

Great setting -- use Groupon

Great time here. Found this place on Groupon, and what a deal. Not only was there a good discount on the price of the testings, we got a free bottle of wine, which alone was the price of the Groupon. And the wine itself was good and not very expensive. Bought several bottles. The atmosphere was pleasant, as we had the tastings outside in a beautiful setting. I can see why there are a lot of weddings here.

My First Membership!

I fell in love the second I drove up. I came here with my husband on a getaway from the city. A friend of mine was kind enough to arrange the accommodations and I cannot thank her enough. The intimate, romantic, and peaceful setting, I can’t even express into words. Lydia (sorry for the misspelling) She wore glasses and was fantastic. I love the relaxed atmosphere that not so many wineries have. And I must say the taste was worth getting a membership. This is my very first wine membership and by far the best tasting of them all.

Wonderful winery with beautiful views and wines

Booked a tasting first thing and was greeted by Dave as we walked in. He got us started and we sat outside in their beautiful gardens. Dave was very engaging and gave us great information about their wines. Love this beautiful winery and their wonderful wines.

LOVELY TASTING EXPERIENCE

We had a very good wine tasting experience. Tasted five wines for a tasting fee of $15 each person. Currently, due to COVID, you need to make a reservation and seating is outside. The day we went was beautiful weather and the outside seating is lovely. We showed up without a reservation and were turned away but, just as we were getting into our car, the server ran out, waving her arms and yelling "A reservation was canceled so you can come in!" The server knew her wines and for that we were grateful since many winery staff just know how to pour but are not familiar with the wines. She was always prompt with each serving. If you purchase two bottles, the tasting fee is waived. There are discounts for buying 1/2 a case or more. We ended up buying eight wines.

After the hectic noise and crowds at Coppola’s, we were so happy to have the peace and quiet in this small, boutique tasting room. Try the red blends - they are delicious!

GO FOR THE CHOCOLATE PORT!

This is a lovely winery in a beautiful setting (which as of this writing hopefully has not burned down due to the Kincaid Fire), but the wines are just ok. The Chocolate Port however - is sooooo good!

We had our daughter’s wedding here yesterday and the event was a huge success. The grounds are well maintained, perfect for several options in terms of event layout and usage. They have shaded lawns, indoor and outdoor spaces, beautifully landscaped grounds, lovely views into the hills and vineyards, and an arbor covered in grape vines and strung with lights. You have to work with Milestone Events to book it and use Trentadue wines(they have some good ones and are not too expensive), but all of this worked out perfectly. We didn’t spend a lot more on decor other than olive branch garlands and greenery for the tables and wine barrels-didn’t need it with so much greenery and flowers already growing everywhere. Would definitely recommend this place for a wedding or party.

Our hostess was excellent and gave us an unscheduled tour of the vineyard.We had a great time and it was a learning experience too. The wine is fabulous
