They don't give you what they offer! No free drink as what they sell. No engilsh speaking crew on board! Only one snorkel spot! And no drop-off back to your hotel!! Food is very less and taste as left overs from yesterday. If you go back to the shop the woman (from the picture) starts yelling at you!! There are many ahnother companies to go with for a beter price!! Don't go!!!

Sind mit dem "Party boot" gefahren,auch weil wir auf Koh rong Sanlomen 2 Nächte bleiben wollten, das Ticket war ein Open retour ticket, war auch gar kein Problem, 2 Tage später von der Insel zurückzufahren.
Von Party kann auf dem Boot keine rede sein, bei der hinfahrt waren es ca. 30 Gäste, 25 davon Chinesen. Es gab den ganzen morgen durch free coffee and Tee, als "Frühstück" gab es so eine Art süßes Brot. Nach ca. 1h fahrt waren wir am ersten stop, vor einer Insel zum Schnorcheln. Wer schon ein paar mal Schnorcheln war, wird hier sehr entäuscht sein, wirklich viel gibt es hier nicht zu sehen. Der Stop dauerte 40 min, mehr als genug. Dann gab es essen, Obst, Reis mit Gemüse, und 2 andere warme Gerichte, irgendwas mit Huhn glaube ich. Ok, wer jetzt ein Gourmet Feinschmecker ist, wird hier nicht glücklich, alle anderen die den ganzen Morgen noch nichts gegessen haben (wie wir) können hier zuschlagen. Es gab genug von allem, so daß jeder satt geworden ist. nach ca. 1h weiterfahrt kamen wir gegen 12:30 in der Saracaen Bay an. Seltsamerweise hielt das boot ganz rechts am Strand an dem Pier an. Dort war es absolut häßlich und vermüllt, und ca. 20min Fussweg zum schönen Strandabschnitt. Der nette Kaptain hat uns gefragt wo wir übernachten, und dies war genau auf der anderen seite der Bucht hat er uns erklärt. Wir haben dann für 5 $ ein Taxiboot genommen. Auf unserer Seite der Bucht war der Strand viel, viel schöner. Am nächsten Tag haben wir mittags das Partyboot auf einmal auf unserer Strandseite gesehen, er lag dort am Pier an. Wir dann zum Boot hin, mit dem Captain gesprochen (er sprach gut Thai, meine Frau ist Thai), und er meinte sie würden jeden tag wechseln, aber wenn wir am nächsten Tag zurückwollen, könnte er auch wieder dort bei uns anlegen, was er auch tat.
Die Rückfahrt war dann um 15:30, Ankunft in Sihanoukville gegen 17:30. Rückfahrt sehr ruhig, da die meisten Passagiere schlafen. Das Party boot ist eine nette, ruhige Alternative gegenüber den Speedbooten, aber Schnorcheln war leider nix besonderes.

Seems like this has been a hit for me and a miss for some. I paid $20 and have no expectation but it turned out to be such a great day! It was not overcrowded and plenty of room to move about so I got the outer deck on middle floor, just enough sun and shade for my liking.
Pastry bun was served as snacks along with iced coffee upon departure. We moored at Koh Tas and snorkelled 20mins or so, was a ca da so visibility was pretty high with some colourful coral and school of fishes. Remember to bring $20 as deposit for Snorkel mask, mine worked fine and no leak. After snorkelling, there was still food left and staff were topping up so I had two rounds and we started cruising to Koh Rong Sanloem at this point already.
We got off the jetty and was told we have 2.5hours and to be back at boat by 3pm, ready for departure at 3:30pm. I made some friends on boat, the four of us turned right at jetty and walked till we see Octopussy Bar and took a left turn and walked 1.5km to Lazy Beach. 10x people all up including us at this lovely beach. We got dropped off at Saracen Bay and of the bay is rough, it will be calm on Lazy Beach which is just the other side of the island.
It does take an hour to 1.75hours to walk to and fro Lazy Beach. Don't let the distance fool you, with the heat and walking on sand, it sets you back timewise.
Lots of beautiful accommodation and swings and hammock in the water to take photos. Will definitely be keen to come back and do a full day cycling to see the Lighthouse which we've missed on this trip! No tuktuks on Island if you're thinking about the lighthouse visit on a one day Island cruise!
In short, it was going to cost me $15 for speedboat ticket return from Serendipity Beach to Koh Rong Sanloem. I paid $20, was well fed and stopped at Koh Tas fir a snorkel, can't complain and won't ask for more.
For those worried about theft when travelling solo, I took little money with me and padlocked my backpack. It just lowers the chance unless someone decided to step the whole backpack! All my belongings were safe and staff were all nice to me. I didn't bother checking put the toilet but I would imagine it'd be pretty manky.
Between the for of us we have paid a price range or $18 to $25 for the same thing, I got mine for $20 through the guesthouse I was living in.

Per un escursione giornaliera consiglio vivamente questa. Per 20 dollari avrete colazione e pranzo di calamari fritti riso e spezzatino con patate e in più frutta varia a volontà. Tutto ottimo. La spiaggia dell isola grande merita. Bel posto. Ciao a tutte le belle dai cugini di Affile RM ITALY. CIAOOOO

Boat was very crowded, the lunch buffet when served was like watching seagulls eat!
Best thing about the day was the destination,right near the jetty is a small natural pool,with a bar beside.If you are quick off the boat and beat the hordes you can get a nice table and chairs for your 2 hour stay.

The name "Party Boat" would make you think a lot of people were getting crazy, but that wasn't the case at all. They do sell alcohol, along with other drinks, but it's very family friendly. The snorkeling was decent, the lunch buffet was really good, and the beach on Koh Rong Samloem was peaceful and quiet. We went during low season and there were enough seats for everyone, so we didn't have the same problem other people have had with seating. We passed other tour boats along the way, and ours looked like the biggest, most comfortable one. We had a great experience overall.

Our pick up was on time at our hotel but than we had to wait over 20 minutes for a group of people who were late at another hotel. We were the last people for the boat. The boat itself seemed ok but there were over 100 people on it so we couldn't even get two seats next to each other... (Although they put additional wooden chairs on it). We tried to share one but than we thought how awful a whole day like this would be. That's why we left the boat last minute and cancelled.
If they would have told us before we would have switched to the normal ferry but like this our day at the island was ruined.
Only good thing was that we got our money back. NEVER AGAIN!!

My girlfriend and I got 2 tickets for the trip the following day. We showed up to complete chaos. The woman who runs the ticket operation yelled at us and told us to wait while other people were allowed to get on. When we were allowed on, there was nowhere to sit. I estimate the boat was oversold by about 100 tickets. It smelled. It was crowded and people were bumping into each other. People were complaining about no seating and the overcrowding. There is no evidence of any safety equipment. We got off just before the gang plank was pulled. I told the woman there was no place to sit and I would like my money back. "No". I lost my money but that was better than standing in a crowded boat cabin for several hours.
