I was here with a friend. We cooked very good Cambodian food together with Sinoun.
Sinoun was a nice woman and taught us about Cambodia. She also told us about the food we cooked and the ingredients we used.
Really recommend!

This cooking class was amazing! Sinoun was a great teacher and very friendly. The dishes we made were very tasty and something we want to make at home

Amazing!
Made three dishes of my choice.
She was so lovely and the food is absolutely delicious! All authentic dishes, she made the curry exactly how she makes it for her daughter.
And i got the recipes to (attempt to) cook at home!

Despite COVID Sinoun‘s Cooking Class is up and running. We contacted her via phone & discussed dishes we wanted to cook. She arranged a Tuktuk to grab us directly from the port and welcomed us in her nice outdoor kitchen which could fit up to 10+ people. We had 2,5 nice hours cooking summer rolls, vegetable yellow noodles, fish amok & rice ball dumplings. Great experience and host.

We took a cooking class and it was awesome, we called sinoun a day before and talked about which dishes we want to cook. So she prepared and bought everything we needed. The Food we cooked by our own blew us away, it really was one of the best experiences we had in cambodia. Would recommend it to everyone, especially if you don’t know what to do in sihanoukville

We had a very lovely cooking experience. We got to pick the dishes we wanted to make and eat. The instructions were very clearing and easy to follow in proper english. The portion sizes were very decent so don't make plans to have a lange dinner afterwards.

I found Sinuon's cooking class on trip advisor and communicated via FB messenger. She responded promptly to my queries. For a total of $US60 my Hubby and I were collected from the crazy hive of activity right at the port and taken to Sinuon's house via tuk tuk. We were shown how to make a traditional 3 course meal (and ate as we went) At the end of our very enjoyable time we were taken back to our ship via tuk tuk. I would highly recommend this activity whilst in port.

It was a little tricky to sign up for this class, but I sure am glad I persisted until we did! We were picked up by tuk tuk from our ship and taken directly to Sinuon's third floor kitchen where we were happily greeted and given a cold bottle of water to drink. Then we had about 4 hours with Sinuon all to ourselves as she taught us how to make Banana Flower Salad, Fish Amok, Chicken Curry, and Banana Tapioca. We took our time, made the dishes, and then enjoyed them while Sinuon told us about life in Cambodia. She talked about the growth of Sihanoukville and her life as a chef. After the class, we were returned to our ship via tuk tuk again and saw more of the construction that permeates the town. The dirty streets and garbage in the town are shocking and the streets are terrible. .Sihanoukville isn't a very nice place, but the port of call was completely redeemed by our hours with Sinuon. I don't think you could find a better thing to do. Our only wish was that we might have had a beer with our meal instead of water.

We had an excellent day of cooking and eating delicious food! Sinuon sent a tuk tuk to get us at our cruise ship, so it was very convenient. It was about a 15-20 minute tuk tuk ride from the ship to Sinuon's house. The whole town is one big construction zone. Sinuon was kind and supportive and she helped us every step of the way. Even my teenagers loved it. I highly recommend this class! This is hands down the best thing to do while in Sihanoukville.
