Great fun and super helpful staff

Really helpful staff, from the start of our booking and all the way through our activity. Everyone very kind and helpful, and all of my group had a fantastic time. To keep 20 kids so entertained and all safe at the end is a big task but Oakerwood did it with ease. Thanks so much x

Absolute adventure

Went with a few friends for 3 nights 2 days , it was absolutely amazing. Being surrounded by tall trees , amazing greenery , and then sitting around a camp fire in the dead of the night with no lights , that was absolutely great.
We did quite a few activities but my favorite has to be the quad bikes , it was an absolute adrenaline rush , I loved it.
Seriously if u wanna get away from the city for a few days , these guys have little huts you can sleep in too , it's totally worth it , and super enjoyable. Have funn

Great day out

Perfect day out , for any activity. Recently booked a stag do with the buggies and the boys loved it. Will defiantly be returning in the future & good also good value for money.

A wonderful Stag Do experience

Couldn't rate Dave, Mark and the team any higher! What a wonderful group of people and some excellent activities and activity leadership.
Had a bit of a last minute Stag Do booking and the team were more than happy to accomidate our request and even made us all a cup of tea on arrival as it was chucking it down!
A wonderful hour of quad trekking lead through some of the most beautiful forest land I've ever seen, followed by another hour of clay shooting across a stunning lake!

Instantly felt safe and comfortable through Dave and Marks instructions with the clay shooting. They also were very keen to guide you through your technique so to allow you the best chance of getting the most out of the activity.

Sam also did a wonderful job of leading us through the quads, safety is always a first priority with these guys and they did a fantastic job at making sure everyone was safe but still able to have an amazing time!

100% will be returning, even if its just on my own!

Good work lads, we loved it!

Great fun for an adult family

We were a family group from 21-66yrs and chose to shoot clays. From the start we felt well cared for by the two Georges. Explanations were clear and we all achieved so much more than we expected. The location was beautiful and it was good to have hot drinks available, glad I brought biscuits and perhaps that could be an option. Would recommend this activity as everyone enjoyed the experience.

Fantastic Team Build - 'Doug's Favourite Team' !!

I booked Oaker wood for 16 adults to complete a Team Building afternoon, we had a 2 hour code-breaking session, we were split into 2 groups with myself heading up the winners - 'Doug's Favourite Team' and my boss in charge of the other team! With a few ex-veterans it was pretty competitive.

George and Doug were great with helping us on the 4 obstacles we had to complete to gain clues. The whole event was really well organised and all my work colleagues had a fantastic afternoon. Thank you, we will be back for another Team Build later in the year.

Brilliant rugby tour venue! Highly recommend!

Took a party of 47 here (12 year old boys plus parents) for a rugby tour and what an amazing time we had! Kids had a ball running round the glamping village - and it was great to know they were having a good time in a safe environment. We did the low ropes and the paintball and both were fantastic fun and well supported by lovely, friendly staff who were clearly adept at managing large groups. Barbecue was an excellent choice for supper and we were impressed by the quality of the meat and the attention given to those with food allergies. Great welcome from David, overall fantastic facilities, clean and warm pods to sleep in - just couldn’t fault Oaker Wood. It was an awesome location for a sports tour and I would highly recommend it to any club or school thinking of doing something similar From an organisers point of view David and the team were super responsive and answered all my questions really quickly so I felt we were very well looked after.

Went to Oakes Wood for a hen weekend and OMG what a fantastic time everyone had. The fire pit was awesome and we spent a lot of time around that. The facilities were great, the views were amazing and the setting was lovely, loved the fairy lights. We did high ropes and quad biking. Sam was sooo patient with me as I had a slight issue with heights and he didn’t make me feel embarrassed at all and George and Claire on the quads were brilliant. I would love to go back and try some less high up activities!! It was awesome. Thank you

Just back from my hen weekend, what an absolute blast!
Facilities were clean and well stocked.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, especially George (even though he tricked me!).
The activities were well organised and staff were super patient with those who were scared of heights.
Could not have asked for a better weekend!
