Parking fee is $5, but you can enjoy many thing with your family. They even have a Zoo ($2 per person) inside, also have a Nature Center to educate Adults and Kids. They have a very good playground for kids, also have Pony Rides. You can rent Paddle Boat and Bike. Yes, you can do fishing, also.

Nice large park, uncrowded on a weekday morning during the summer. They didn't charge us the $3 for entry/parking like I was expecting. I visited with my 2 teenage kids. There are lots of shade trees and grassy areas so it was nice for a hot day. We rented a single surrey bike which fit the 3 of us and were pleasantly surprised that it is half-price on weekday mornings: $15 for an hour. We rode around on paved paths. The lake is small, but we saw families renting paddle boats and a few people were fishing. We also sampled some of the exercise equipment and my daughter enjoyed the swings. We didn't visit the zoo or ride the train because they seemed to be more geared to younger children. We stopped by to see the ponies on our way back to our car.

I used to come here for summer YMCA Saturday night camp outs 55 years ago. Have come here for Horseback riding and a couple of days out on the lake. But today we had a nephew come for a visit, they live in Pine Grove, CA. A long drive North, with their 2 sons, ages 6 and 4. Not being around young children on a regular basis, it was a long, and tiring day. But it was great to see them. We took the train ride, went to the Zoo, walked by the Upper and Lower lakes and hit the playground. This is a family oriented adventure.

There is a train in the park
There is even a playground.

Turtles, kangaroos, Lots of birds,Possum andBlacktailed Prairie dog.

We had fun at the Irvine Regional Park.
The train was perfect for kids.
They had a zoo. They had quite a lot of animals.
Those who liked serpents and other dangerous will be perfect for us.
We liked the lake. Truly beautiful!There were shelters and picnic tables.

Good place to visit during the week. It is nice and quiet. Not many people and you can explore the park without lots of crowds

this park offers so much to do, from hiking the trails, fishing, picnicking, catching a great free concert during the summer concert series, it's just a great place to spend the day

I always love to come here and sit under the big old shade trees on the grass. The train and pony rides are always big hits for the grandkids.

Love the area to walk and not being around cars. Lots of places to sit and relax. Clean bathrooms and very safe environment.

This is one of my best experiences in Anaheim, the park is just beautiful and the trail that I took leads directly to the top of the mountain. There are different trails for hiking, bike/walk/running. There are many birds along the path and a pond for fishing. It is about a 40 minute drive from the convention center.

Do you charge for the tables area near Lot "P", the pond and the small playground? I you do how much is for the Day, I want to reserve something for a Baby Shower on May 21st.

Hi! Will you be able to accommodate a charter bus or require drop off only? I have a group of 50 - 60 people, majority seniors (50+), and we are planning to spend ~3hrs in the park on 9/16 afternoon. Thanks.

I just made a reservation for what was called a shelter but then i saw a picture that the area was not covered like other shelters. Are the group areas shaded by trees? Just wanted to make sure we will not left out in the heat with all the food and little kids.
