Great experience with the seals out on the walkway in the marina!!! They really put in a show for us. Lots of beautiful boats.

Absolutely beautiful national park! We did a boat tour and then the visitors center. Great wildlife sanctuary And beautiful views ! You must go!!

The Park has five islands surrounding the water harbor. They have many plant and animal species: whales, dolphins, seals and birds. Their is a tiny island fox, which I never saw. You can reach by ferry from Ventura or Oxnard. The year round climate is mild. The visitors are maybe 70% visitors, age 50 and older. There are trails to walk, or you can swim (cold water),

This is where we bought fresh crabs and clam chowder, the crabs were really good and very cheap, if i would compare it to Redondo but the clam chowder is definitely better in Redondo, nice service...have to check it out

There is a very nice Farmers Market at the harbor every Sunday from 10a-2p. Many local fruit and vegetable vendors that are quite inexpensive plus flowers and plants. You can get local honey and there are a few craft vendors, too. A trip to the market on a Sunday morning makes for a great day and a week full of fresh produce.

It’s a nice place for a walk. I saw a bunch of sea lions. There is a creepy abandoned hotel on one side. And it shows you, based on the boats, that California has a lot if rich people.

As far as harbors go - it looks fantastic for just owners. For tourists it’s limited. In February most things close early in the day.

Hotel was literally a few feet from the Marina. Beautiful. There is a long walkway that you can view the site at your leisure.

We have no words. Came to just relax for the day. And it was beyond perfection. The views. The PEACE. Nearly brought me to tears. Loved watching the boats come and go. The ducks & seals. The quietness. No wind. The walking trails. Could not have been more pleased. If we are ever back in this area, it would be a must!

This is such a cute place to visit . Took a nice walk around , enjoyed seeing all the boats. Very peaceful. The food court is a good place to grab a bite to eat.
