The views are amazing! This event is totally worth it! We had lunch up there which was fun and enjoyed the nature walk, beautiful!

We booked, as did a lot of people for a 3pm ride. Just as we were about to board an Asian Tour Group arrived and were given priority over us, taking up two of the next to gondolas to the top!!! Why would you let people book a 3pm ride if you knew you had a tour arriving at that time. Smacks of bad management. Also we brought 2 Christmas baubles of a replica of the Gondola. Check them when we left to make sure all was ok. By the time we got them home several of the black plastic used to represent windows, rather that what we thought was painted, had attached itself to the plastic bag they were wrapped in and had come off. Totally rendering it useless. Don't buy them they are cheap but not cheap to buy. The service everywhere was rubbish, apart from the very friendly and witty man inside the gondola. Having said that the views from the top are spectacular, a different world.

A great way to see the landscape of beautiful mountains, vast desert and a touch of snow leftover from the spring. Our first trip to Palm Springs and this did not disappoint! Facility was clean, safe and the restaurant & bar were opened and ready!

Tram ran on time (we had booked a 2:00pm ride). Great views on the way up and even more from the top. The tram operators each had their own style but both were entertaining.

Well organized ticket and entry, but the photographer blocking the queue to the tram was super annoying and tried shaming the non- English speaking tourists for trying to get past him. No forced photos PLEASE!
The ride itself is smooth and easy and quite fun. Both the tram operators going up and back were reassuring with personality plus.
The park at the top is amazing. I recommend the fine dining restaurant as well.

The aerial tram was the most wonderful experience! I am afraid of heights so I’m our friend group, I hesitated in going but am I glad that I did. Such a solid and secure engineering feat! Well run, clean and the views, just beyond! Highly recommend for young and old alike!

Why are these advertised as tickets? They’re vouchers you exchange for tickets, with no apparent advantage over just buying a ticket - and with the disadvantage of not getting you a confirmed, timed booking.

In my experience in August 2022, we selected an entry time slot and showed up a bit early. I think we went up shortly after arriving, perhaps that is why you think this is a voucher and not a ticket. By the time you park, walk up to the tram, etc the timing isn't exact. It is a nice spot, enjoy a hike and the views!

How far in advance can we purchase rides please. Dates for August are greyed out but we are unsure if it is because we are only in June now. Thank you in anticipation

I went in June and there was availability on pretty much any ride up due to not many people go there in June. Parking lots mostly empty, etc. We made reservations the week before but really you didn't even need a reservation in June.

Online purchases are closed, so what time should I go when I make an on-site purchase? It opens at 10 a.m., but until what time can I get a ticket to the site?

I think they open the gates for autos at 7 AM. Maybe the first tram goes up at 10, but you should purchase tickets earlier.

If we buy tickets in advance for Wed Nov 24, are we able to skip the line and get directly on to a tram? We have lots of activities planned for Thanksgiving and don't really want to spend time in queue.
