My grandchildren spent a wonderful morning at the museum. There is so much to explore and discover, and they did not want to leave. A great place to take children for a most reasonable price. Highly recommend visiting this museum.

Our (almost 3 yr old) son enjoyed the blue building blocks, the grocery store and kitchen play areas, and the ambulance and fire truck. I do not know that we will be in that area again, but I'd recommend those nearby with toddlers needing to entertain kids for a few hours to give it a try. It is pretty open and does not feel as crowded/congested as some places like this can get. We were there on a weekday at opening time.

My kids, ages 5 and 8, love going here. They can spend hours playing with the interactive exhibits - they particularly love the water play area, kitchen, air tunnels and bubble exhibits. I like that they still require masks and frequently sanitize everything. Tip - bring a picnic lunch if you visit as the restaurant inside is currently closed.

very nice place to take a kiddo when attending an event at the convention center. Super convenient for that. My kiddo loved the water learning area.

This is one of our favorite places to go and the location is within good driving distance to do other activities in the area. Don’t forget to check out the park in the back and bring snacks/change of clothes. Our favorite part was the water section! Our kids could stay there the whole time with that alone so everything else is a bonus.

It has changed a bit since Covid entered our lives. There is still lots to do. We brought 2 two year Olds and they absolutely loved it. The ability to touch and interact with so many things kept them entertained. The big kitchen and outdoor play area were their favorites.

My little one enjoyed the water room and the outside play areas. We spent a great deal of time crossing the rope bridge and digging for fossils.

I have been here DOZENS (maybe hundreds?) of times pre-pandemic and about half a dozen times during the pandemic. Pre-pandemic we did SO many fun art projects and we felt so special as members. Pre-pandemic my son loved pretending to drive the fire engine, ambulance and exploring the art center. Storytime is also SUPER fun!

Bill's backyard was delightful. The staff here did a wonderful job with the strict limitations they have to deal with and everything was kept sanitary and cleaned often. Definitely worth the $5.

Usually the museum is less crowded when schools are in session.

子どもとバスで行きたいと考えています。しかし夫が治安を心配しています。最寄りのバス停から子供科学博物館まではGoogleマップによると徒歩で8分。この距離を夫なしで2人の子供を連れて歩くには危険なエリアでしょうか？
ちなみに現在は治安がいいとされる地域に住んでおり、15分程度かけて歩いて子どもと出かけているので、子連れで歩くこと自体は問題ないです。

I checked with our friend that is on staff at the Discovery Museum, she said many special needs children visit every week and they alway try to accommodate any reasonable request for these kids. Do contact the museum, sometimes they have events that would a real treat for your daughter.
