The theater is perfectly fine - with one exception. We went to see Beetlejuice which was 'closed captioned' - only from the 9th row of the balcony, it's completely impossible to read the subtitles. I had tickets for Mughal E Azam - which is a live production of a 1960's Bollywood movie. I was very excited about this show, and was really splurging as even the cheapest ticket is $93 after fees. But once I learned that I wouldn't be able to read the subtitles... I canceled my tickets.
I think it's repulsive that you have to be able to pay for premium tickets to be able to read the subtitles. That is not equal access to all. Please improve your subtitling system.

Went to a play CATS. Very nice theater, Very large. Advice would be to buy tickets in orchestra area no further back then 15th row . 20 max. Balcony up front as much as possible. Rows are very long no middle aisle.Be prepared for people walk in out. Row 27 area people use for walk threw before show instead of walking around outside of theater,

Excellent performances, only downside is that theater doesn't have a center Aisle which makes it difficult to enter and leave your row of seats if you are sitting toward the middle.

This is a wonderful place to see performers the hall in warm and comforting easy parking there's no food vendors or drinks I don't know if that's because of the performance that's playing at the time or not. All in all the place is vary nice.

The remodel of this center has been wonderful. We have attended Broadway shows there for many years and now, even if a tall person sits in front of me (I’m 5 feet tall), I can still see because they staggered the seats. Acoustics are good and the parking garage off the freeway is reasonable on special event nights ($10).

What can I say?? There is not a bad seat and the performances are great. Really enjoy this venue very much.

Went to see Cats at the CFPA and it was great. Sat right up in the 2nd row and we’re awesome seats. Very comfortable. Lots of room . Nice venue. Definitely will go again. Glad the Broadway shows are here in San Jose. Can now avoid going to the city!,

I was here to see Shen Yun and it was a colorful and vibrant production. I didn’t like the commentary after EACH scene or the individual performances intertwined with the show, but the costumes and scenery were great. I had a fantastic view (orchestra row 26). I agree with not allowing pictures or filming DURING the show, but i think it would be helpful to these reviews if we could take a pic of our view BEFORE the show. The staff were definitely quick to address people who opened their phones. There was complimentary coat check and parking was ok. My only complaint was continued disruptions from this one family and their young kids. Otherwise, it was a great venue and ok show.

My wife and I saw the show Waitress and we thoroughly enjoyed it. In the past year or so, we have seen Wicked and King and I as well. The shows are professionally done and the performers are all quite good. We find the sight lines in the theater to be excellent as well as the sound system. The seats are comfortable and the leg room adequate. We park conveniently in the nearby garages (not free) and often make a night out of it and enjoy one of the downtown restaurants. If there is a show or performance that interests you, we would absolutely encourage you to go as I doubt you will be disappointed.

We love the aisle seats due to the long rows, but the best view is definitely from the middle. Even if you move to the back of the orchestra in the middle, they are still pretty good seats.

I prefer the parking garage on Park Avenue between the Performing arts center and the Tech Museum. I usually stop at the "Peggy Sue's" diner there for an old fashioned malt shake or something and get my parking validated.

We take the light rail - super easy - park at light rail station nearest you and ride to the Perfoming Arts - much cheaper and more fun than trying to park downtown!
