A great outfit hosting the ride.
William was the consummate tour leader. Given that the weather was touch 'n go re possible rain / showers, he reached out to us the night before to clarify our options and offered up suggestions / alternatives.
Long story short, the weather cleared up and we had a lovely day out in Sta Ynez. Ballard was especially wonderful re the vineyards and rolling terrain. The tastings (two wineries) intro'd us to some blends that were great but not well known outside of the area.
For those looking to cycle (~16mi), the rolling terrain in Ballard is very doable if you have a good (light / well geared) road bike. If you haven't ridden some miles prior to your ride, an e-Bike (heavy as it is) will be your safer option.

So happy we booked this tour. William was great. Pick up & bike fitting was easy. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, vineyards, grapes, etc. it was a couple hour scenic ride through beautiful country followed by 2 wonderful wine tasting stops. I was very impressed with his patience getting my 82 yr old aunt comfortable on the e-bike. The lunch was great! William made the day easy and special! Thank you!!!

We loved our bike tour of the wineries 🍷! Our guide, William, was very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the ebike for those who are not into very strenuous exercise - there were 8 hills on the loop. The ebike assist feature made the tour very enjoyable. Got enough exercise without being too exhausted. The lunch and wine tasting concluded our trip beautifully. Highly recommend this tour. Aloha!

A wonderful day e-bike riding in the Wine Country! My wife and I were both a little nervous as we hadn’t been on bikes in years, but William our guide was great with his instructions and kept an eye on us and all of our group of 6. With the e-bikes you can pedal as little or as much as you want, and they’re great for the hilly part of the ride. William’s knowledge of the area and wines made the two wineries we went to at the end of the ride even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to do something a little different & fun in the wine country near Solvang.

A highpoint of our SB trip!! We are so grateful that we selected I Bike SB Wine Tour due to glowing reviews. Tour guide is an incredible person ~ 16-mile vineyard journey has breathtakingly beautiful views ~ E-bikes are easy to operate (even for middle-aged beginners) ~ delicious edibles & wine. Experience was so much fun & extremely well-organized. Kudos, William, you have created & deliver a seamless, safe, and highly memorable experience (we simply had to arrive to the bus)!
For those who walk rather than ride bicycle, my husband and I recommend a "refresher" ~ we rented a few beach bikes prior to this tour which increased our confidence greatly.

William was a great tour guide. The 16ish mile bike ride was a nice sampling of the area, and on the electric bike was suitable for pretty much any level, depending on how much energy you wanted to put into it. The picnic lunch and the wineries were fabulous. I definitely recommend!

Great experience overall for my husband and I. The ebikes were convenient, easy to use and such a fun way to see wine country. The wine tastings and lunch were a wonderful conclusion to our bike ride. Absolutely recommend.

This was such a fun experience and a must do in Santa Barbara! William (owner and tour guide) is so knowledgeable and overall amazing person. He has done an amazing job curating this experience and every stop on the itinerary was absolutely worth it. The e-bikes are easy to operate and the 16 mile loop is nothing short of beautiful. Highly recommend this tour.
