Wonderful food tour with terrific variety!

We had a great time on our food tour with Linda! She was warm and fun and a pleasure to spend the afternoon touring downtown Santa Barbara with. We booked a Monday afternoon tour in the off season, and we were lucky to be the only ones signed up that day, so we got a private tour. Sometimes it's nice to be with a group, but we thought it was especially fun to have a private food tour this time. The quality and variety of the cuisine was excellent. We visited five places: a wine tasting room, a Turkish bakery/tea house, a Mexican restaurant, an Asian fusion spot in a food court, and an Italian restaurant. We enjoyed all of them, and we especially appreciated Linda's cheerful demeanor and information about Santa Barbara's history and culture. This tour was a lot of fun and we highly recommend it!

A Taste of Santa Barbara

Our tour guide, Maddie, was great! She was knowledgeable and accommodating. The restaurant choices were great taking us to places we may not have gone to on our own. The Courthouse was beautiful! After our tour we saw a great Dia de Los Muertos parade!

Best food and walking tour

Linda was our guide and she did a great job. We learned so much history and enjoyed the variety of food and wine. The local businesses did a great job to make us feel welcome and the food was so delicious. She gave us great insider tips on where to eat and shop. Do this tour at the beginning of your trip and you will be all set. Make sure to have a light breakfast and come hungry. This was a highlight of our vacation.

Such a fun tour ! The variety of food was delicious and Nancy our tour guide was full of knowledge about Santa Barbara and its culture. Go hungry because you will eat a lot! Great tour!

Great experience, very relaxing

The tour guide Maddie was very friendly and very organized. She was very pleasant to work with setting up, answering questions, etc and was on time and had all the stops running smoothly. Since we were from Southern California already, most of the history of the area was not new to us, but she did tell us stuff we didn’t know. The food and the wine were both very good. The walking was super easy, plenty of shade and bathroom stops as needed. Very relaxing pace.

Two somewhat negative items: we didn’t know we would go through metal detectors at the tower and my husband had a pocket knife that he didn’t want confiscated so he could not go inside. Also, the price of this tour was expensive. Otherwise very happy.

Great food in a beautiful setting!

Highly recommend the downtown food tour. Great way to see the city and taste yummy local food. Nancy was a fantastic guide!

Maddie was great!

We had a small group of 5 led by Maddie who was great. Be prepared to have a lot of food and one full wine tasting. We also toured the Santa Barbara Courthouse which I’d highly recommend. We walked through the Old Mission too. History of Santa Barbara is interesting as well. Our stops included Gastellini Family Wines, Los Arroyos, Secret Bao, Ca Dario and Italian Ice.
