Had a great time walking around the railroad square. The bonus was seeing the Charles Schultz characters around the area as we weren't aware of this being his birthplace. What a beautiful city and historic district.

We rented a suite and there was nothing special about it, In the bedroom there was only one light. There wasn't enough light to read by. When you rent a suite you expect more than just more room. Also you would expect them to include breakfast, they did for some guest, but not for us.

The railroad square isn't big so I wouldn't make a special trip to see it. However, if you're in town and a fan of Peanuts, swing by. There are a few statues of Peanuts characters, a shaded grass area and a great coffee shop.

Older buildings, lots of "junque" shops, and a variety of restaurants. The district is a pleasant place to wander for perhaps an hour. There's plenty of metered public parking available at $1/hour.

サンタローザのオールドダウンタウン。街中にさまざまなアート作品が展示してあるので、写真をたくさんとりました。さすがスヌーピーの街とあって、キャラの写真がかわいい。

Antique stores, thrift shops, furniture, bars, jewelry, shoes -- it just goes on and on. Lots of restaurants and bars.

Went to the district and arrived before 10 am - not much going on. This visitor center was a good place to find things / places to see in the area. We walked the entire 3 block area and only found one store that was open at 10. The running shoe place didn't have a sign with posted hours, yet people were inside - but never opened the door even after 10 am. We visited the antique stores and found them interesting. The coffee shop / diner didn't open till 11. So if you go - don't go too early.

This is a cute area in Santa Rosa, with lots of little boutiques and coffee shops and restaurants. It's a fun stop for the afternoon, antique stores, consignment...you have to pay to park and parking is a premium...the meters take atm's if you don't have change!

This is where the suburb tries to find its urban interior and downtown. It's worth the effort to support as there are some unique cafes, restaurants and stores around. Park your car and walk around.

We stopped into the train station Visitor Information office and picked up a West End Walking Tour map.Not the most interesting area. We walked past warehouses, saw vacant lots where shops used to be and generally walked through neighborhoods that were a little down-at-the-heel.
The Historic District shop façades were lovely but not much you’d actually want to buy in the shops.
