Harry welcomed us and took such good care of us from beginning to end! He educated us on the history and terroir of the wine. The pinots were exquisite as expected and we were so delighted by the refreshing sauvignon blanc too...all set on the gorgeous outdoor patio surrounded by their vineyards.

We stopped at Merry Edwards without an appointment. They were kind enough to give us a tasting for 4 people. What a great experience. Linda was the nicest person, also super informative! We ended up with a bottle to go and shipped several bottles home. This is our first winery we stopped at during our trip, all others better be on their A game because this winery was terrific!

Merry Edwards is a Russian River pinot wine maker extraordinaire. A pioneer, both as a woman wine maker and in the use divers clonal selections to developing pinot noir vineyards, Merry is a just retired Sonoma legend. The wines our goup tasted were made (starting in 2018) by her long time protege Heidi von der Mehden. Most famous for it select vineyard Pinot Noirs from Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast, there is also a full bodies Sauvaugn Blanc that has always been a personal favorite with a classic label.

We had an excellent experience tasting the lineup of Merry Edwards’ wines. A pioneer of California Pinot Noir, the winery sources from several excellent vineyards in the region. You’ll mostly see regional appellations in wine shops or restaurants so trying the single vineyard expressions was a joy. And they make a lovely Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay as well.

We chose to do a tasting at Merry Edwards based on recommendations and proximity to our hotel, we could not be happier we chose to stop here! Our host was very informative and personable, we learned a lot about the region and had so much fun chatting with her. The tasting was reasonably priced as were the wines we ended up purchasing. The garden setting for the tastings is lovely. Highly recommend.

We arrived 45 minutes early for our scheduled tasting and Linda greeted us graciously and showed us a wonderful table on the patio. The wines were delicious and Linda was very knowledgeable about Merry Edwards, the wines and the area. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a few cases shipped home.

Had another great visit to Merry Edwards - Ryan did our tasting and was great. We visited 5 years ago and loved their wine, loved it just as much this time. We came for the Pinot Noirs but their Sauvignon Blanc stole the show!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful wine tasting at Merry Edwards! The wines are yummy! The host was very informative about the region. Would definitely return when in the area.

Make sure to stop at this phenomenal winery with outstanding wines. We brought home a chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to enjoy after our tasting here.

I did not see a price for tasting on your website... One review stated tastings are free- is that accurate?

Sorry for the delay and both our drop-in and private seated tastings are complimentary. The private seated tastings require a reservation 24 hours in advance and are offered at select times throughout the day while the drop-in tastings are available everyday from 9:30AM-4:30PM
