For a day I would recommend taking the tour. They will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Honestly, because of the amount of wine tasting, you should probably not be driving. Also, the wineries you visit are kind of spread out, so walking is not really an option. You are on a schedule being on the bus, but I found the time we had at each. winery to be sufficient. We were never rushed. If you are going to be in. Temecula for a few days, take the tour the first day, then you can go back and revisit wineries the next day, or check out wineries the tour did not take you to. I hope this helps.

Grapeline offers private tours as well as shared group tours. Your choice. Shared group tours are usually preferred by smaller parties... they are social and fun. For larger groups, usually 8 or more, private tours tend to be preferred.

Hi lilinka, Yes. We accommodate A LOT of bachelorette parties. A day of wine tasting is a great plan for a group who prefers a relaxed and fun outing in a beautiful place to a more "wild" night out. Most bachelorette party guests who come out with us say it's a much better bonding experience than the other, more "typical" bachelorette parties they've experienced. Depending on how many people are involved, you could join in on one of our shared tours, or for a larger party go with a private event. Call us and talk to one of our event specialists if you want the whole scoop.

First, on a private tour, the winery selection is completely in your hands. We'll provide very reliable suggestions and guidance if expert advice is desired. But you call all the shots. For our shared tours, the itinerary is rarely exactly the same on any two days, although it's not unusual to see one or two of the same wineries you saw last time. The winery for your lunch location only changes about every two years. Right now it is at Cougar Winery, catered by on-site Sangio's Deli. So unless it's been a long time, the winery where your lunch is served is likely to be a repeat. All other wineries are completely flexible... and the biggest factor in selection is guest requests. We often get "anti-requests" from guests who want to avoid a particular winery because they've been there and want to sample something new. That's great, just let us know when you book. Of course, no guarantees on your request unless you go private, as we need to blend a variety of requests and other factors for the shared tours. FYI, one of the other very important factors we consider in daily planning is recent guest feedback. If a winery is getting a lot of positive buzz, it's more likely to be included in future tours. Other factors include weather (some wineries are perfect on nice days, but ill-suited for inclement weather), events (especially live music), tour group timing (if they expecting a 200-person private event at the same time you'd be visiting, we'll steer clear), even specific winery staffing (some wine country servers are exceptional personalities, and can really "make the day" when you visit).
