Wonderful place to park and walk. You can walk all the way to town for lunch and walk back. Flat,easy, dog friendly , city and water views . Can be warm and nice or overcast and fog..but always beautiful . Dress in layers , few bikers . Easy for older people or kids. Bathrooms close to parking lot. You can do a short stroll w a non ambulatory person, even benches to sit abs take in view Tiburon tavern, rustic bakery, woodlands gourmet grocery, Sam’s or petite left bank in town are worthy stops for yummy vittles.

We went to Blackies Pasture in Tiburon. We enjoyed a walk by the Bay. There are amazing views. We also liked the horse statue in the meadow.

There is now a statue of Blackie there. as a kid we would stop and pet/feed this horse, it was not lacking for affection. That we would memorialize a sway backed horse shows how loved Blackie was.

Maybe you had to see the stoic, black swayback horse standing resolutely in his pasture to appreciate this site. You can imagine the scene. This horse caused a highway to be rerouted around his home...and he just stood there and watched. Our kids would call out to greet hum as we drove past. It was a good time and place and still a great view.

Blackie's is right next to the parking lot and off-leash dogs are fine there. The problem can come when walking toward town as the enforcement of the leash law has been sporadic. Keep your dog off McKegney Green (soccer field) as that is sure to draw attention and a possible ticket. Plenty of poo bags available.

Love walking here and a must for visitors who bike along the strand as there are beautiful water views on the way to the ferry back to San Francisco!

De omgeving aan de rand van de baai is een fijne omgeving om te joggen, wandelen en fietsen. Meestal is het weer erg aangenaam.

Great walking path along the bay. It has beautiful views of the Bay and winds along into the town of Tiburon.

Not much in pasture except fine horse statue. Grandson likes to give it a ride.
Lots of parking at the beginning of a fine walk into and thru Tiburon. Excellent views and fine nature on a clear and moderate weather day. Rain ok too. Not much fun in hot weather.
Restroom and water across pasture.
Keep on walking until you realize you have to walk as far back.
Seems to take about 1/2 hour to walk downtown. We like to return a different way next to the homes.
A number of nice eating places are downtown too.

Yes, there's a restroom near the beginning of the Walk/ Bike Path next to the Tiburon Filtration building on the left. And there's also a drinking fountain and a doggie bowl you can fill for canine companions.
