Stayed in a cottage right by the Dungeness Estate. The scenery is stunning (well maybe not the power station). Lovely and peaceful.

Not really sure what to say!!!! This place is very odd! Feels very strange being there and there’s not much to point you in the right direction to anything significant - so we just wandered about, went into the lighthouse etc… although it’s worth a visit I am not sure we would be back in a hurry. Would love a bit more detailed info rather than just a sparse map and a couple of sign posts saying beach this way!!!

I loved it. So beautiful and strange.
Stopped at the Britannia Pub for Fish’n’Chips. A quirky place that felt like being at a Cafe on the edge of the world.

Dungeness all I thought was nuclear power station but do much more . An unusual mix of houses great views . We rode the little train to new Romney and back ate in the end of the line restaurant . Climbed the old lighthouse which is well worth it for the views . And wandered on the beach . A well worth visit everybody was friendly and we came away with some great souvenirs and a certificate for £1 to show we climbed the lighthouse

Easily reached by car, this is a magnificent, wild place. There's plenty of unusual flora and it's a delight for photographers, especially when the sun is out. Not to be missed if you are anywhere near. Eating facilities are available at nearby catering establishments like the Pilot Inn.

Very interesting. Look carefully for the converted railway carriages. Lots of history here. Near to the power station. Lots of wildlife. Accessible by car or by the miniature railway.

This is one place you should not miss if you are anywhere near this part of Kent. It is unique. The views are unbelievable and, if it is late in the afternoon and there are no clouds, you can try and light up the candle that is Dungeness old lighthouse with the sun. Unfortunately, being shingle it is not all that wheelchair or pushchair friendly but there is a road which runs from the Pilot Inn at Lydd-on-Sea to the treminus of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway which makes for easier walking.

It’s a unique place with the scattered buildings across the shingle
The plant live is very different and lovely to see
The views are lovely across to Dymchurch and Hythe
Lots of fishermen with lines out from the beach catching mackerel etc
We saw a pod of dolphins when we were there which was amazing
Local fishermen told us there is a regular visiting seal but we didn’t see him
Plenty of bird life here and evidence of rabbits

This is a marvellous place for walking (if you don't mind walking on shingle), breathing in the fresh air and taking photographs. Unfortunately, being shingle, it is not all that wheelchair and pushchair friendly. There is a small car park nearby (pay and display,)with toilets. Not to be missed if you are anywhere in the area.

Are there paths throughout which would make it possible to visit with a buggy or is it just a free roam across the shingle so to speak?

As above, some paths and a central roadway. When we were their there were lots of people with buggies and a number of wheelchair users as well. The area is generally flat as well so I don't think you will have many problems.
