Wine tasting session informative. Client liaison person on duty outside cellar door was amazing, a lady that loved her job and made our experience a little nicer. Three course meal and service underwhelming. Matched wines all came out together on a paddle and were hot within minutes of hitting our table in full sun. They were dumped on the table not explained and we didn't know which end to start from. The sparkling red matched with desert (we presumed) was hot and not sparkling by the time dessert came. Very sad dining experience given how much that was paid for the experience. Service terrible.

1/2 a star for Ticketmaster Box Office at Day on the Green Sirromet Winery
Paid $625 for Two Rod Stewart VIP tickets including Car Park ticket, emailed directly to my email address by Ticketmaster Customer Service. Arrived at Sirromet Winery at 2.30pm. After standing in the Rain for 35 minutes. They said my very expensive tickets where invalid. However, it seem fine with them that I could prove I paid for them!!! But still they said they could not confirm or allocate my tickets as my Wife stood outside waiting in the wings absolutely drenched from the rain. I didn’t matter that I showed them my email or ticket receipt that showed I had clearly paid, which they acknowledged, it made no difference to them. After waiting 20min at the Box Office Sirromet. I called Ticketmaster myself and got it sorted before a Manager rang to the ticket office at Sirromet Winery! Epic Fail Terry Morris. What disgusting treatment. All but accusing me of have fake tickets. As I waited many more patrons were given the same treatment . unfortunately My VIP tickets had be reallocated to worse seats. Don’t even bother with these cowboy Day on Green Operators!!! Seats On very far edge of the stage….What stitch up!
Jon Stevens….. absolute Legend. Go see him when ever you can people! Don’t blame the performers….. Great job Jon.

Saw fantastic show Dacy, Jon Stevens, Cyndi and Rod Stewart. Getting in was a breeze when they have heaps of staff on site to take your $20 parking fee and even direct you to the car park. However on exiting not a single traffic controller on site. I saw Sting last month and now Rod and both times over an hour in the car park sitting waiting. Sirromet clean your act up or you won't be getting people coming to your events due to the parking frustration. Asking people to pay you would expect some service in that not just take your money and go. Really frustrated with Sirromet. I would have given them a one rating however the concert was amazing 👏 and you had nothing to do with that!

Concerts were great ,staff good ,but, trying to exit car park paddock after Concert was a complete mess.Dark ,raining no traffic control ,a single exit lane.
We sat there for 55 minutes along with a thousand other vehicles trying to exit.
This was a shambles,communication and then being told by security officer staff and 55 buses had priority to leave first.
Having paid $20 to park on the side of a cow paddock hill I would have expected some safety traffic control.
We will not return to this place again no matter who the talent is.

Attended A Day on the Green on Saturday 25 March - firstly we were warned on what we could and couldn't bring into venue - disappointing to see that others were allowed in with prohibited items such as full size umbrellas, eskys over 26 litres, shopping trolleys and portable tables and were not turned away at entrance gates.
Entertainment was fantastic - Dacy, Jon Stevens (really brought the house down, Cyndi Lauger and finally Sir Rod Stewart (last 2 hours).
Food and beverage prices were okay however bottles of wine were on the expensive side (not allowed to BYO) - food was also a little expensive $18 for 10" pizza (however we brought our own picnic dinner).
Only spoiler was a shower of rain in the last 45 minutes.
Reserved seating tickets provided excellent views.
Two allocated areas for toilets which both had a large number to cater for over 5000 people.
Most disappointing aspect was departure after Sir Rod Stewart finished the entertainment at approx 9.30 pm. There were no marshallers in the car park directing traffic - we waited in a queue for over an 1 hour and didn't move (were told by Security that 55 buses and staff were allowed to depart first) until finally were allowed to depart on a private road which linked to Springacre Road.
Lack of communication and staff to direct departing traffic ended the evening on a sour note and extremely disappointed that Sirromet should be more organised in holding these type of events.

We started with the premium wine tasting with Boyan. He had great knowledge and it was wonderful to talk about new varieties and areas we had visited in Stanthorpe and Europe. After selecting a wine to accompany our picnic hamper we collected an assortment of food which was comfortably too much for lunch. We walked some off on the short walk around to view the sculptures in the gardens. A wonderful time together.

Best winery tour I’ve ever been on, expertly guided by (apologies missed his name) an exceptional Macedonian gentleman who knew everything there was to know and took time to answer questions. His hosting of the wine tasting was exemplary. Attention to detail 101% and very informative

We were so excited to be attending the Sting concert, February 2023. We are really excited to see the second act, James Reyne and of course really excited to see Sting. The turn off from the main road is a mere 3 km. However, it took two hours to travel 3 kms in absolute gridlock to get to the venue. When we got to the venue, we couldn’t believe how many thousand of cars were packed into this car park which was basically a field with potholes and hazards everywhere. When we asked the traffic organisers what was going on and why the traffic was so bad they told us that they never seen anything like this before. This is clearly untrue reading the comments on TripAdvisor. This clearly has been happening for many years. We will never ever see another concert at Sirromet winery. We missed the whole of the James Reyne set. We got to our seats running from our car park in the middle of a field with five minutes to spare before Sting came on. We paid top dollar for these tickets and for the car park and it was an absolute disgrace, the way the traffic was managed. Clearly this venue cannot handle having major concerts of any type and should be banned from holding any type of major concert in the future. It seems this has been going on for many years and needs to be stopped. It was that bad in the gridlock that people were getting out of their cars to wee behind trees, jumping fences because they just could not hang on. That’s how long and bad the gridlock was. It’s a disgrace. Unfortunately for everyone, and I would say it would have been thousands of people, they paid for a concert that they didn’t get to see in its entirety. Thank God sting was incredible and it took away some of the pain that we experienced trying to get to this venue. Because it took us so long to get into the venue, we left before Sting had even finished singing and ran to our car to get out of there because we knew if we didn’t we would have been stuck again in a gridlock for over two hours to travel 3 km. Very very disappointed and we are not people that ever leave reviews for anything especially bad reviews, but I feel that everyone needs to know about this venue.

I haven't been to any concerts there but my son tells me unless you have reserved Gold Seating its a case of first in best seated , so I would get there and be at the gates at 3.30pm

We've booked tickets to James Taylor and Don Henley events at Sirromet at Mt Cotton in the coming weeks, but we've heard getting in and out of the events can be a challenge ("nightmare" was the exact term) in terms of parking, etc. Can you offer any suggestions and/or let us know what the available options are? We live in Southport. Thank you

I have been to a number of Day On The Green events and have always driven my car. Getting into the venue has not been an issue and is controlled by Police and Staff who are very helpful. Leaving is always VERY busy and just requires some patience, however if you either leave just before the end of the concert or take your time strolling back to your car after the concert is finished, I have found the traffic in both instances to be slow but ok. Again staff and police are in attendance. There are buses from local shopping centres however I've never used them, I think information is available on line. I've had friends use a taxi at the end of the concert and they had no problems.

Hi There,
I have been to a wedding at this establishment. The young couple were married in the outdoor chapel in the vineyard and then moved up to Lurleens the premium restaurant. The young couple booked out the restaurant for the night. They had about 100 people at there wedding and it was a little tight, I guess 80 would be perfect. The restaurant is air conditioned with the food and service being first class. Sirromet has the Marquee on the Tuscany Terrace which would also be OK. I would caution you here, the toilets are demountable units and the Marquee is not air conditioned. No heating or air conditioning could have an impact on the event and the toilets from where I sit are not up to standard....Go Lurleens would be my recommendation
