Love this store, but when calling to see if they carried bubblegum and strawberry extract for a child's birthday cake, they had neither.

Shop closing. Catalog sales available. Locations on east coast and soon in Albuquerque NM. Bought some Greek Spices and have been using them quite a bit.

We've been to other Penzey's and know what to expect. But this outlet fell flat, with nothing much to be enthusiastic about. If you've never been to a fresh higher end spice and seasoning store, it might be worth a look...but we found Savory Spice around the corner to have much more intriguing combinations and far more engaging and involved staff

Large selection of spices, and really really logically arranged, by their usage. As this shop is within the Pearl Street walking mall, it is convenient. The spices seem a little less fresh than in the Savory Spice Shop on Broadway, no I mean when you enter Penzeys you are not overwhelmed by the various spice smells as you are when you enter Savory Spice. I like "overwhelmed". But this shop is certainly adequate.

Penzy's has a great selection of herbs, spices, and various seasoning blends. The prices are reasonable as well - you can get jars or bags full of whatever you need. I like the Cajun spice blend. Just a hint of heat with a lot of flavor!
