We had a fantastic day at the 2023 World Championships! The site is clean and well presented and the event ran very smoothly. Very friendly staff on site and it’s great that benches have been built into the bank. Looking forward to future events at the site.

Am totally furious re the parking. It is not fit for purpose. .and impossible to get help from anyone at the venue. Registered vehicle on arrival as had disability badge. Put car details in to their front desk ipad thing. Got parking ticket from Gemini .Sent copy of disability badge to appeal ticket. Lost appeal ..don't know why. Am furious and will never visit the place again. It would help if there was someone to speak to at Lee Valley but there is not even a phone number ..or perhaps they could deal with their own parking instead of subcontracting it to Gemini. The whole situation has left me in tears !!

Went with a scout troop. Brilliant afternoon. The facility is clean, changing rooms nice and warm. But the staff are amazing and that is what makes it so much fun. They were patient with the kids that needed the extra support while at the same time pushed the kids that were wanting to be more adventurous. Really great instructors and it made for a fantastic experience for all the kids. Thanks so much! We will definitely be coming back.

Today our charity brought a group of 13 young people to Lee Valley. The young people are part of our London Futures disability programme.
Tim and Doug took everyone out for an hour of fun on the inflatable 'Water Wipe Out' activity.
The experience was incredible from start to finish. Despite the variety of abilities within the group, everyone was equally able to take part, feel safe and most importantly have fun!
Thank you to Tim, Doug and all of the Lee Valley team. This is our second year visiting and we will definitely be back

I admit, I was pretty nervous before we did the hot dog rafting, but after getting kitted up and getting the briefings from our fantastic instructors (George and Anna), I was a bit less nervous. We did a swim test to make sure we could float if we fell out the raft (you wear helmets, wetsuits, wetsuit boots and a life jacket which are all checked before you go anywhere near the water). Then we did our first run down in the kayak and I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it. At the bottom, you paddle around to an uphill conveyor belt which takes you back up to the start - no having to get out and carry the kayak! It felt like we were out on the water for ages and thoroughly enjoyed it all. We were absolutely shattered afterwards so had some lunch and an ice cream on their decking area which is lovely in itself even if you’re not doing anything on the water. I’m quite a nervous and anxious person but I’d say this really pushed me out of my comfort zone and boosted my confidence. Would 10/10 recommend and definitely do it again.

Rafting experience was so much fun! Our captain/instructor Rory was great and we had a wonderful time as a duo on the raft this weekend. Would definitely recommend to anyone keen for a bit of adventure. Our group of 7 took it in turns in different places on the raft and really enjoyed the laps of the course.
We travelled from London on the overground which was easy enough, arriving in time for a quick check in with instructions for picking up equipment (wetsuit, boots etc) and where to meet our instructor. The centre has a fab terrace with food and drinks on offer and being purpose-built it is just a great site.

Big shot out to our amazing instructor Immy, who managed to instruct my rowdy family, luckily she understood our honor (this a skill in itself). We had a whole boat to ourselves for white water rafting for my big sister's birthday. The group ranged from 17 to 60 and everyone loved it. It's hard work and as they say, what you put in you get out. All you need is swimwear and towel, they provide a wetsuit, shoes, lifejacket and helmet (lockers are free). Onsite there is a restaurant that overlooks the start of the course and lots to do for the little ones .

My wife and a group of her colleagues went along to the centre for a rafting course and was told parking was included as she was a customer. She put in her car details to the machine only to then get a parking penalty. We contacted the centre to ask what’s going on to be told it’s not their problem and that they wouldn’t do anything about it and to contact the parking company. Judging by trip advisor reviews this seems to be a common occurrence. Naturally I don’t expect a response

A great day on the hot dogs riding the rapids! So much fun and laughs together, despite one member of our group being nervous.
Our instructors Josh & Fraser got the balance of health & safety alongside making our time exciting and fun.
Our instructors got us trying different ways of riding the rapids to keep us engaged in and were really chatty as we went round the course.
Totally recommend this as a day out and brilliant water sport activity

This was a great afternoon’s fun. Very well organised, and our skipper, Immy, was excellent, full of energy and enthusiasm. She made each circuit of the course a bit more challenging for us.

What food is available at the Terrace Bar Grill, there is no menu online. In particular how much do burgers/ sausages cost? Planning 11 year old birthday party.

Sorry, we only had a sandwich and it was about 2.30pm so there was very limited choice. Food was ok but nothing special.

At the white water centre you are equipped with a wet suit and a buoyancy aid , so you will come to the surface, but water is turbulent and may not be the easiest if you are not water confident.

Yes you will be put in a group. You more in a raft than two. Great experience, went as a couple and we loved it.

Has anyone tried the water wipeout course please? I want to know how big or whether it’s much like the large swimming pool inflatables. I can’t find anything but close up pictures & don’t want to drive that far if it’s nothing no special. Thank you in advance

My children went here yesterday, and absolutely loved it. (They are 13, 11 and 8) It is much larger than I expected, and as there were only about 20 people in it, there was no queuing at each section. Perfect for this hot weather

would like to do
the hydrospeeding. I have glasses that sports prescription glasses that are shatter proof and can be worn with tie at back. used for kite surfing. would these be ok to wear for this?

I wore normal glasses on white water rafting . sure would be fine to wear. it's better that you can see what your doing . Enjoy
